Bodies of failed attackers, unwilling organ donors surface in Azerbaijan

Jafarov died in the hospital, where he was placed after the injury, Azeri media said.

 

In all probability, Jafarov Rebbie is another victim of failed Azeri attacks at Armenian border launched in June-July 2012.

 

Back then, 21-25 Azeri soldiers were reported killed in Tavush-Ghazakh area, while Azeri side never mentioned the victims.

 

Later, Azeri corpses started surfacing through reports of drowning, mine blasts, road accidents or “victims of Armenian snipers.”

 

Clearly, the official Baku wouldn’t confess that the soldiers in the “mightiest Azeri army” have perished in a failed attack against Armenia and Artsakh.

 

There’s another reason one shouldn’t forget about. Recently, a scandal broke out over Azeri trafficking of organs removed from dead soldiers.

 

The scandal occurred in early August, when Azeri media released a statement by a soldier’s mother, suggesting the organs of her son and his 7 co-servicemen were sold abroad.

 

Later, an open letter of Toulouse-based former Azeri serviceman was published, where Ragim Namazov revealed that Azeri military units in Nakhichevan are engaged in the sale of soldier’s internal organs.

 

Recently, Zerkalo Azeri newspaper has released а statement by the mother of Azeri soldier Irada Mamedova, who said that heart and liver were removed from the body of her son who claimed to have committed a suicide.

According to Ms. Mamedova’s report, the dead body of her son who was claimed to have committed a suicide was brought to her by a civilian who demanded to bury him at once.

 

Having learnt the news on trafficking of organs removed from dead soldier, Ms. Mamedova demanded to exhume the remains of her son.

 

As it was discovered during an autopsy, Ismail’s heart and liver were removed from the dead soldier’s body.

 

“Further, the investigator was trying to persuade me that Ismail’s missing organs simply decayed.”

 

“My son’s military unit commandment offered to pay me not to speak at news conference, which I didn’t agree to,” the grief-stricken mother said.

ANKARA. - Another outrageous act by the Turkish nationalists against

the Armenians brought forward the anger among of the Turkish society

as well.

 

During the Turkey-Netherlands match of the World Cup selection round,

part of the Turkish fans of the Turkish national team tried to

encourage the other part of the fans by claiming `the one who does not

stand is an Armenian.'

 

The authors of such statements who seed hatred against the Armenians

among the Turkish society and insult the Armenian people are not

punished properly, hence, the outrageous actions by the nationalists

go on.

Azeris damage Armenia, NKR booth at Top Resa 2012 French exhibit

Upon learning of the occurrence, the representatives of the Armenian Embassy in France along with the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) delegation brought it to the attention of the governing authorities of the exhibition and the incident was recorded.

 

The organizers of the exhibition reported that they had received complaints from Azerbaijani embassy in France regarding the participation of Artsakh at Top Resa.

 

As requested by the Armenian representatives, security monitoring at the Armenia and Artsakh booth was established.

 

The booth is entirely restored to its previous condition and all the information on Artsakh is now widely accessible.

 

At present, the exhibition is going forward according to the initial organizational intent, with the Armenian booth is receiving high-level attention from attendees and participants, National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia reported.

Baku blacklists foreign astronauts over Karabakh visit

Baku will announce astronauts Charles Moss Duke (U.S) and Claude Nicollier (Switzerland) as personae non grate for visiting an Artsakh-hosted “Man & Space” scientific conference and meeting NKR President Bako Sahakyan.

 

Glenn Hughes, an English rock bassist and vocalist, best known for playing bass and performing vocals in Deep Purple, Black Country Communion, Black Sabbath, Phenomena bands was also reported to have been added to Azeri black list for recently performing in NKR capital Stepanakert.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Military training courses will probably resume in all Azerbaijani universities staring the next academic year, Azeri MP, Baku State University rector Abel Maharramov said.

Military expert Uzeir Jafarov, in turn, characterized the closure of military departments as an incorrect decision, Vesti.az reported.

“The departments enriched the potential of law enforcement agencies,” the expert said, stressing the need for benefiting from the expertise of CIS universities.

A member of Azerbaijani parliamentary committee on security and defense Zahid Oruj further underscored the necessity of resuming activity at university military departments.

“The student must be ready for service, especially on the frontline. A war in Nagorno Karabakh is inevitable, so are bloodshed and deaths. The country must be ready for all this. Similar issue was seriously discussed in Russia several years ago, with the lack of patriotism in most Russian families resulting in army problems,” the MP said.

Thus, Azerbaijan needs “cannon fodder” trained at sniper schools. Now the students, too, will receive kamikaze training. It’s hard to believe Baku doesn’t acknowledge that young generation of inefficient soldiers will be targeted in the face of a new war.

Just on the contrary, fully aware of the fact, Azerbaijan won’t hesitate to send the young soldiers to their deaths, thus trying to replace the quality by a quantity.

Բաքուն շարունակում ապարդյուն ճիգեր գործադրել որպեսզի աշխարհին «ապացուցի», որ հայկական մշակույթ գոյություն չունի: Հերթական նման ջանքի է հանդիպել Ռուսաստանի Տուրիզմի միջազգային ակադեմիայի ռեկտոր Իգոր Զորինը:

 

Մասնակցելով հոկտեմբերի 9-ին Երեւանում կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսին, որը նվիրված էր հայ-ռուսական զբոսաշրջային առաջին գիտարշավին` փորձագետը կիսվել է վերջերս Բաքու կատարած այցի որոշ տպավորություններով: « Ես առերեսվել եմ մի ողջ խմբի հետ, որը փորձում էր ապացուցել, որ հայկական խոհանոց գոյություն չունի, որ հայերն այն յուրացրել են մեկ ուրիշից, հավանաբար հենց ադրբեջանցիներից»,-նշել է Զորինը:

Հայաստանի ԱԱԾ մարմինների կողմից բացահայտվել եւ կանխվել է Ադրբեջանի հատուկ ծառայությունների հերթական սադրիչ գործունեության փորձը:

 

ԱԱԾ մամուլի կենտրոնից հայտնում են, թե սեպտեմբերի 24-ին ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմիններին է դիմել Ուզբեկստանի քաղաքացի, ազգությամբ տաջիկ, 1979թ. ծնված Զամիրժոն Օտաժոնովը, որը հայտնել է, թե պատրաստ է 20 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլարի դիմաց պայթյունների տեսքով ահաբեկչական գործողություններ է կատարել Ադրբեջանի մայրաքաղաքում: Իր խոսքերը Զ. Օտաժոնովը հիմնավորել է նրանով, թե 2012թ. ընթացքում աշխատել է Բաքու քաղաքի շինարարական կազմակերպություններից մեկում, սակայն տվյալ կազմակերպության տնօրինությունը հրաժարվել է վճարել իրեն կատարված աշխատանքի դիմաց, ինչի պատճառով էլ նրա մոտ ատելություն է առաջացել ադրբեջանցիների հանդեպ:

 

Ձեռնարկված օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ վերջինս ՀՀ ԱԱԾ մարմիններին դիմել է Ադրբեջանի հատուկ ծառայությունների ուղղորդմամբ եւ նրա գործողությունները ոչ այլ ինչ են, քան սադրանք: Ադրբեջանական կողմի այս քայլերը նպատակ են հետապնդել միջազգային տարբեր ատյաններում եւ ԶԼՄ-ներում իրականացվող հակահայկական քարոզչությունում Հայաստանը ներկայացնել որպես ահաբեկչական գործողություններ կազմակերպող եւ հովանավորող երկիր:

 

Ուշագրավ է, որ Զ. Օտաժոնովին Հայաստան ուղարկելը կազմակերպվել է Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների կողմից մարդասպան Ռամիլկ Սաֆարովին ազատ արձակելու ու հերոսացնելու արդյունքում քաղաքական դժվարին իրավիճակում հայտնվելու ժամանակաշրջանում:

 

Այսպիսով, Ադրբեջանի համապատասխան մարմինները փորձել են ուղղակիորեն օգտագործել Զ. Օտաժոնովին` միջազգային հանրության շրջանում Ռ. Սաֆարովի շուրջ ստողծված դժգոհության ալիքը մեղմելու նպատակով: Չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ Հայաստանը բազմիցս հայտարարել եւ ապացուցել է, որ ահաբեկչական ցանկացած գործողություն անընդունելի եւ դատապարտելի է, սակայն, այդ ու հանդերձ ադրբեջանական կողմն իր գործած հանցանքները հնարավորինս կոծկելու համար դիմել է նման անհեթեթ արկածախնդրության:

Ադրբեջանական էլեկտրոնային լրատվամիջոցները ողջ օրը տեղեկություններ են տարածել, թե հարսնացուն կախվել է ամուսնական առաջին գիշերը: Լրատվամիջոցների մեծ մասը փոխանցում է, որ Ադրբեջանի Աղջաբեդի շրջանի Յուխար Գիյամադինլի գյուղում նախօրեին ամուսնական առաջին գիշերը կախվել է 1989 թ-ին ծնված Գյուլնարա Հուսեյնովան: Հայտնի է, որ Հուսեյնովան կախվել է իր նորաթուխ ամուսնու տան բակի ծառից:

 

Միայն մեկ աղբյուր է հաղորդում այն մասին, որ ինքնասպանություն գործածին մեկ ամիս առաջ փախցրել են Բինա գյուղից եւ բերել են Յուխրա Գիյամադինլի գյուղ:

 

Նախնական հարցաքննության ժամանակ ամուսինը ներկայացրել է կնոջ ինքնասպանության հիմնական վարկածները: Ներկայումս Գյուլնարայի մարմինը բժշկական փորձաքննության է ուղարկվել: Փաստով քրեական գործ է հարուցվել:

 

Դեպքի կապակցությամբ երկու հարց է առաջ գալիս. ինչո ՞վ է աչքի ընկել փեսացուն, որին չի դիմացել հարսնացուի հոգեկան աշխարհը, ինչո՞ւ Ադրբեջանի իրավապահ մարմինները գործ չեն հարուցում առեւանգման փաստով:

 

Մի բան ակնհայտ է. մեր հարեւանները, ովքեր միջազգային բոլոր կառույցներում փորձում են ապացուցել եվրոպական արժեքներին իրենց հավատարմությունը, գտնվում են միջնադարյան պարզունակ մակարդակի վրա, երբ թույլատրվում էր աջիկների առեւանգումն ու բռնի ամուսնությունները: Այստեղ բացահայտ է մարդու իրավունքների խախտումը: Իզուր չէ, որ աչքի առաջ է գալիս «Կովկասի գերուհին» ֆիլմը: 21-րդ դարում ադրբեջանցի աղջիկների առեւանգումը հանգիստ կարելի է համեմատել այս ֆիլմի հետ. «Սա գեղեցիկ տարօրինակ ավանդույթ է, ո՞վ է հարսնացուի կարծիքը հարցնում, պարկը քաշում ես գլխին ու... վերջ»:

Azerbaijani-Armenian clash reported at Odessa naval school

PanARMENIAN.Net - An incident occurred between an Armenian and an Azerbaijani at Ukraine’s Odessa naval school.

As SalamNews reported, the scuffle between RA citizen K. Kadechyan (born in 1977) and Azerbaijani Rashid Mirzaev (born in 1989) was caused by the Armenian’s “obscene expressions” in address to Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov. As a result, Kadechyan was hospitalized, with Mirzaev detained after a claim was filed against him.

A sentence will be passed upon the Azerbaijani citizen in the near future.

Ramil Safarov, the Azerbaijani army officer who was serving a life sentence in Hungary for axing to death Armenian Lt. Gurgen Margaryan, was extradited to Azerbaijan and pardoned by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in August.

Բաքվում աղմկոտ սկանդալ է հասունացել ռուսաստանցի երգիչ Ֆիլիպ Կիրկորովի այցելությունից մի քանի օր առաջ, հաղորդում է Life Showbiz-ը:

 

Երգչի «ԴրուGOY» համերգային շոուն Բաքվում պետք է տեղի ունենար նոյեմբերի 9-ին, 25-հազարանոց Baku Crystall Hall դահլիճում: Կիրկորովի համերգի բոլոր տոմսերը վաճառվել էին դեռ մեկ ամիս առաջ, սակայն հանկարծակի նրան տեղեկացրել են, որ համերգը չեղյալ է համարվում:

«Այո, համերգի կազմակերպիչները մեզ հայտնեցին, որ Ֆիլիպի ելույթը Բաքվում չի կայանա: Մեզ հայտարարվեց, որ դա կապված է ինչ-որ «տեխնիկական պատճառներով», բայց մենք դրանց մասին տեղյակ չենք»,-ասել է արտիստի մամուլի քարտուղար Օլգա Ալեքսեեւան:

 

Բաքվում սվիններով են ընդունել այն, որ երգչի հայրը՝ Բեդրոս Կիրկորովը որոշել է օգնել հայաստանցի 13-ամյա երգիչ Անդրանիկ Ալեքսանյանին: Բաքվում Ֆիլիպ Կիրոկորվի համերգի կայացման համար սկզբունքային պայման է դարձել Բեդրոս Կիրկորովի կողմից Ալեքսանյանին աջակցելուց եւ տաղանդավոր պատանու հետ համատեղ ելույթից հրաժարվելը:

 

Ինքը՝ Ֆիլիպը խոստովանել է, որ ներկայումս զարմացած ու ապշած է տեղի ունեցածից. «Ես շատ ցավում եմ, որ ինձնից չկախված պատճառներով համերգները, որոնց սպասում են Բաքվի իմ երկրպագուները, տեղի չեն ունենա»:

Համերգի չեղյալ հայտարարելու պաշտոնական վարկածը՝ «տեխնիկական խնդիրները», որեւէ քննադատության չեն դիմանում:

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani-Dutch Youth Organization (AzJN) and Azerbaijani Students and Alumni International Forum (ASAIF) have staged a protest in the Dutch city Hilversum, News.az reported.

According to the coordinator of ASAIF for the Kingdom of Belgium Musa Hasanov, the protest was caused by the fact that Nagorno Karabakh was presented as an independent state at Holland-3, BNN TV Dutch company’s TV channel.

"In a tourism program, Channel Holland-3 presented Nagorno Karabakh as an independent state. In this connection, Azerbaijanis living in Europe held a protest outside the company," said Hasanov.

The action gathered more participants than expected, Hasanov said. According to him, demonstrators came together to bring the “just voice” of Azerbaijan to the international community.

Azerbaijani President loses sense of proportion

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev seems to have lost sense of proportion. He has recently twitted extracts from his speech during a meeting marking the 20th anniversary of New Azerbaijan Party.

In his speech the Azeri President dubbed “Armenia a country of no value, a colony, an outpost run from abroad.” Moreover he called Armenia “territory artificially created on ancient Azerbaijani lands.”

“Azerbaijan grows stronger and more powerful with every passing year, while Armenia weakens and declines every year," Aliyev said in a further tweet.

It’s no secret that impunity serves an engine for Aliyev’s speeches. The country’s rich oil deposits conceal his complete disregard for the international community, international law and mediators’ direct calls on Nagorno Karabakh settlement.

However, Azerbaijani energy resources are forecasted to deplete soon. Baku already considers 6 percent drop in oil production to 42.9 million tons. 17 years ago the country’s oil deposits were reported at 4-12 bln tons, with only 1,5 bln tons remaining at present. 50 mln tons of oil is annually pumped out in Azerbaijan (almost 90% raw oil exported), with sharp decline in production predicted starting 2014.

With all oil reserves expected to end some day, Baku will be forced to pay the bills.

Azeri-born Kazakhstan citizen banned from Baku over visit to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azeri-born Kazakhstan citizen was banned from entering Baku over his visit to Armenia.

Bayram Azizov was detained in Baku airport and questioned by Azeri customs official as to the reason behind his visits to Armenia. Mr. Azizov’s passport was confiscated, while Azizov himself was left in the air.

Having spent 2 days in the airport transit zone, Azizov addressed a Twitter message to Azeri president. Eventually, Azizov was contacted by Kazakh Foreign Ministry officials to enable his return to Almaty.

As he was notified, his passport will be returned to him through Kazakh officials, while his plane ticket was provided by Air Astana Kazakh company.

In the light of the events above, Kazakhstan addressed a diplomatic note to Azerbaijan, with no reply to follow, Tengrinews.kz reported.

Turkish public says Aliyev threatens regional peace

PanARMENIAN.Net - It’s no secret that the concept "one nation with two states" is meaningful only for Baku, the latter treating Ankara as its big brother. Despite this, Turkey queens it over Azerbaijanis and is unlikely to make any sacrifices.

Turkish citizens’ reaction to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s cynical statements on Armenia can be brought as a proof.

Aliyev earlier dubbed “Armenia a country of no value, a colony, an outpost run from abroad.” Moreover he called Armenia “territory artificially created on ancient Azerbaijani lands.”

“Azerbaijan grows stronger and more powerful with every passing year, while Armenia weakens and declines every year," Azeri leader said.

Meanwhile, Turkish readers’ reaction to Aliyev’s remarks surprised Baku.

“Not very statesmanlike behavior. His dad was a smart man, but Ilham did not get any of his tact and diplomacy and he is dragging Turkey down with him,” a Hurriyet Daily News reader commented on Aliyev’s statement.

“This guy is nothing but a threat to the regional peace. Don't forget that he is responsible for the failure of Armenian-Turkish rapprochement,” another comment reads.

Another Turkish reader posted the following comment, “With oil declining 8% again this year in Azerbaijan, hysteria is the only way Aliyev can maintain power. Most industry analysts agree that Azeri oil output picked about 3 years ago and oil production will decline every year. Yes, oil made lots of money for some Azeris, but most of the regular population still lives in poverty. Not saying that Armenia is paradise on earth, but regular Azeris have just as much problems as Armenians do.”

Armenian National Assembly vice speaker Eduard Sharmazanov dubbed Aliyev “totalitarian leader of a totalitarian country.”

“Aliyev shows by his cynical remarks that there are still supporters of fascism in the 21st century, and that this ideology flourishes thanks to leaders like him,” parliament vice speaker said, adding that Aliyev’s statement is reminiscent of the 1930s-1940s and Nazi leader Adolf Hitler,” he told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Twitting Aliyev: Azeri president puts anti-Armenian comments out on social networking website

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has used the online social network to unleash a barrage of disparaging tweets against Armenia.

 

“Armenia as a country is of no value,” Aliyev, in particular, tweeted on Tuesday in what was excerpts of his original November 16 speech at a meeting of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

 

“It [Armenia] is actually a colony, an outpost run from abroad, a territory artificially created on ancient Azerbaijani lands,” he added, according to RIA Novosti.

 

The Azeri leader said his country would “continue to expose Armenia’s aggressive policy in all international organizations” and repeated his earlier controversial comments regarding the Armenian Diaspora.

 

“I have often talked about it, I want to say it again without fearing anyone – our enemy is the Armenian lobby,” said Aliyev.

 

Armenia already reacted to the original remarks by Aliyev. In his Saturday comments Deputy Speaker of Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov implied the Azeri leader had a “sick mind”.

 

Armenia and Azerbaijan have been locked in a bitter conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh since 1988. Internationally mediated talks have not led to progress in finding a solution to the protracted conflict in the past two decades or so.

Poor scenario for Azeri FM’s OSCE meeting statement in Dublin

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov delivered a statement at OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Dublin.

As expected, Mammadyarov’s statement had little in common with Baku’s usual remarks. As it turned out, Baku is “interested to continue peaceful talks for Karabakh conflict settlement.”

Moreover, especially for Dublin meeting, Azerbaijan resolved to “support OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ efforts,” also expressing readiness to develop a peace deal for a phased settlement of the conflict.

He went on to lament “protracted talks,” however, failing to take the blame for his country’s destructive stance.

What Mammadyarov also failed to mention was Baku’s intensified remarks suggesting OSCE MG activities to be useless, to say nothing of Baku’s constant threats of a new war, humongous military spending, and proclaiming Armenia “No. 1 enemy.”

Instead, Mammadyarov, repeatedly accused Armenia of hampering the progress of negotiations.

The above deserves no comment. Azeri actions speak for themselves, as do Baku’s attempts to prevent the settlement ignoring urges to observe ceasefire, pull snipers from the line of contact, develop mechanisms for investigation of incidents at contact line, while continuing with its bellicose rhetoric.

Baku took its best efforts to undermine conflict settlement talks in Kazan, refusing to sign the basic principles for conflict settlement. Instead, the Azerbaijani leader attempted to impose 10 new proposals, thus precluding the possibility of any agreement.

In short, Mammadyarov chose a bad author to pen a scenario for his Dublin statement.

Azeris attempt to foil World Boxing Championships in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - It’s already a week Yerevan is hosting AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships, with over 700 athletes from 68 countries participating.

Boxing Federation of Armenia boasts vast experience in organization of similar events, with Yerevan first hosting 2009 youth championships and international boxing tournaments since 2010.

This year Azerbaijan was among the countries expressing readiness to participate in the event, with Armenia, in turn, pledging to ensure Azeri athletes’ security. As a result, special Tbilisi-Baku charter flight operated for Azerbaijani boxers, who are currently staying at a separate hotel, with a group of security officers constantly guarding them.

Naturally, Azerbaijani sportsmen were not expected to receive standing ovation in Yerevan, with Armenian fans supporting their rivals.

It’s noteworthy that Armenian boxers were stoned and showered with profanities when performing at Baku-hosted 2011 AIBA World Boxing Championships, which left them without support, forcing their friends out of the hall.

Instead, Azerbaijani boxers are free to watch Yerevan championships from separate stands, support their compatriots and take photos, with high-level security constantly ensured.

Even Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov confessed a few days ago that their athletes’ security was ensured at highest level.

However, inclusion of Artsakh Republic in the official pamphlet of the championships came as upsetting to Baku delegation.

In response, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation Aghajan Abiyev stated, “We are looking forward for the Azerbaijani delegation to bring the pamphlet. We will further file the document to the International Boxing Association (AIBA). That’s a political issue. I believe the association is authorized to ban Armenian from hosting further international championships.”

With the pamphlet reflecting the mere reality, AIBA grants its permit, depending on the country’s ability to organize international championships. It’s noteworthy that Yerevan lent a helping hand to the association offering to host the event, after Thailand issued a refusal.

Yerevan championships are coming to an end, leaving only positive and unforgettable emotions. As for the Azerbaijanis… no doubt, they can’t confess even at heart to have liked the championships. They agreed to participate in the event out of reluctance to be indebted to Yerevan due to Armenian athletes’ participation in 2011 Baku-hosted championships.
