I ask you, who are the main opponents of Armenia and Genocide recognition? Just look to the National Review article this month. Here in America, we have a whole spectrum of reasonable persons from mainstream Republicans to moderate Democrats. Most on the left end of the spectrum ardently support the Armenian cause. It is the far-right, of which Weems is a member, that is not concerned with Armenians at all, and only concerned with Turkish and Azeri interests for pseudo-military and oil business reasons. If you look beyond ethnicity or religion you will find that, around the world, the left is much more supportive of our cause than the far-right.

Of course - that is why they call Liberals "bleeding hearts" - while the so-called "conservatives" can always be called on to act in pure and utter (greed based/short term) self interest...so one need only ask - who has the oil, who is there to do the/our dirty work, who needs apeasing for this reason or that and who really doesn't matter (in this scheme of things). I'll answer one of these for you - the last - that is Armenia.

Right on brother, Paul Bunyan. Let us get a pro-Armenian Democrat elected President in 2004, or at least a Republican who doesn't "salivate like a Pavlov's dog" whenever the fascist right "rings their bell."
