It filled its purpose well, to increase the war psychosis among the population one more notch. Double impact, double goal:1) A deafening BLOWUP NOISE and a choc wave to make believe of a terrorist act or why not a bombing.2) The BLACK CLOUD, to make sure EVERYONE sees it all the way to New Jersey, and remind the peaceful New York people of the World Trade Center dust cloud. Honestly, who would or could believe its just an accident? Well done, gentleman from the CIA! Just add one more layer of fear, and you are motivating the American people very well for the upcoming war. PS: The average American ( the ultra-nationalist) who lives in the heartland midway between Los Angeles and New York City is already supermotivated anyway.
