All were highly educated and intellectually brilliant. The world only heard about one, Chandra Levy. The beautiful and brilliant young Armenian-American no one heard about. The beautiful and brilliant Chinese-American no one heard about. Was it because Chandra, a Jewish-American, was having an affair with a Democratic Congressman and thus there were Clinton/Lewinsky overtones? The Armenian community did and said nothing about this Armenian young woman. Are we so enslaved by the Republican establishment that their political gain precludes our caring for our own? She was completeing the thesis for her Phd. in Health Sciences (Biology). The first letter of her last name was an "A," but I do not recall further. This was in the news once and then was forgotten, lest the public consider that a serial killer was operating in Washington, therefore taking some of the heat off Condit. Azat, do you really know what goes on in DC? Do you really think the Republicans are any different (e.g. Livington or Gingrich). Some Armenians live in a dream world. You all thought that Samuelian practiced what he preached. Now Houry has to wonder where her husband has been catting around when he is not home. However I do not think the attention paid to Ms. Levy had anything to do with her religion nor her choice of a party affiliation of her sex partner. And I do feel like I know what goes on in DC as much as you do and as much as anyone else knows who is not involved in DC politics first hand.
