Our team ranks the 3rd with nine points. Armenian chess players reached the tournament leaders Azerbaijan and Russia. Gabriel Sargisian and Tigran Petrosian ensured the victory of the Armenian team after defeating their competitors. .Levon Aronian and Vladimir Hakobian played a tie. In the 7th round, Armenia will play vs. Azerbaijan. Armenian women chess players made a draw with France in the same round. With 8 points, Armenian team holds the 6th position. Lilit Mkrtchian and Lilit Galoyan won over their rivals while Elina Danielian and Siranush Andreasian played a draw. In the 7th round, Armenia will play vs. Romania.
