And we all know how safe it is to drive there! ~ It is my general observation that when a guy has told me or some other female that she can't drive, it usually means that he thinks she isn't driving fast or risky enough. Don't we women understand that we can save a whole 5 seconds by zooming in and out of lanes at 60+ mph on surface streets with no regard to pedestrians or other drivers? And don't we know that traffic lights are "suggestions" and that men are genetically programmed to be able to drive whereas we have to be taught? What's wrong with us women? On the whole, women are more cautious, men are less patient. We are bound to drive differently. ( I do not fit my own stereotype. ) I do agree that some people should NEVER EVER have been licensed to drive. Especially on L.A. freeways. Why do you look at insurance statistics - the other statistics say men have accidents 5.0% within 1million miles, women have 5.8% within 1million miles! by the way - you are forgetting we are living in a world where women don't get as much tickets as men do due to the cute smile and flirting with the cops... The reason why I used the private insurance companies is because they are in it for the money and not for any political reasons. If you call for insurance and tell them that same stats(same miles per year, age, etc) insurance will be cheaper for the women. Main reason being the accidents they are in are less severe.
