probably the best source will be to examine persian zoroastrian tradition, i think right before christianity armenians closely followed that faith and also intermarried with persians a lot at that time.

kakachik jan, it could as well as be vise versa... I am not saying that Armenians did not adopt many things from others such as Persians, but culturally speaking Armenians were more advanced then the surrounding countries!!!

I would examine Persian as well as Greek sources for the complete picture. In reality, we do not know great deal about cultural aspects of pagan Armenia.

We know that there were festivals at Garni, sexual in nature to say the least.

Thanks to our "Lusavorich", he made sure to eliminate as much cultural artifacts as he could to advance his Christian dogma on Pagan(Hetanos) Armenia. Movses Khorenatsi paints somewhat immoral picture of Pagan Armenia, but that is understandable because of his entrenched Christian believes at the time.
