Anileve
Where are you planning to travel this year or where did you go the year before. I am curious... Nairi, I still want to go to Amsterdam! But I think I would like to visit Paris and Berlin first.
Aubépine
I would definitely recommend Spain as someone who lives there on and off. It may not be Italy, but there are so many places to discover. The northern coast from Galicia to the Basque country is exceptionally beautiful. Fortunately there aren't that many tourists either. If you haven't been to Paris before, you should make it your top priority. I was there during Christmas and it is as beautiful as it gets. It has a different charm any time of the year. Sip
I am definitely planning an extended camping/boating trip to Utah as I've done almost every year for the past 5-6 years now ... several smaller trips (hopefully with some offroading) into the Sierras now that I'm closer, and if I can convince my friends, maybe one or two camping trips with them in the deserts of CA. Last time we made the mistake of "camping" in one of the more civilized campgrounds (more like a hotel with no bed or walls really) in southern CA and we got in a lot of trouble with the rangers and the people around with "noise". Somehow people don't seem to appreciate blasting Tata and Harut at 4AM ... so the farther from civilization, the better! I am not a big fan of places outside of the US but I haven't ruled out a quick trip to Germany or Rome if I can find a good deal on tickets. Of course I would love a trip back to Maui too!!! Now only if I can convince Azat to take me with him the next time he goes. Edited January 18, 2008 by Sip

nairi
I've lost the passion for travel for some reason. Which is why I only traveled twice in the last seven or eight years, both times to Armenia (not counting rare day-trips to Brussels and a wedding in Paris..). If I have anything like a must-see list, then Jugha is the only place on it, and only because I'd like to see where my parents grew up. But I doubt I'll ever do it. My next trip, if any, will most probably be to Armenia again, to see relatives.

Aubépine
There is an Armenian museum on Avenue Foche, which I found out by coincidence. I wanted to visit the Musee National d'Ennery, which specialises in Asian art, but it was closed for renovations. For some reason the Armenian museum is also housed in the same building. It looked as if the building had been undergoing renovations for some years now and it seemed to me rather neglected with overgrown ivy leaves. Thanks, I loved Spain as well. I am glad it's not as popular as some of the other European countries, I hope it doesn't change. Never been to the Basque country, but I heard it's very charming. Munich is very cool too. so it Trier and the Rhine valley Why do you think I will visit Paris many times? I don't know if we will travel to Europe this year, but I would like to travel somewhere in the US. I've never been to San Francisco and North Carolina, I'd like to visit both, although they are on totally opposite sides.

Many people have returned stating that they felt very insecure in Brazil. The crime is rampant and they target tourists for special mugging. I heard that Chile and Argentina are far more interesting. I would really love to visit Chile! I am really not attracted to 3rd world countries, I used to think that it's very adventurous, but now I think it's not as interesting and a real nuisances. Especially after so many people return from those places with illnesses and parasites.

For some reason Madrid reminded me of Yerevan. I didn't expect to like it at all, but I ended loving it, probably more than Barcelona, but we didn't really spend much time in Barcelona. I have such spectacular memories of Spain! Only the food wasn't that great, Italy was much better in that department.
