Classic Casting is looking for about 100 men between the ages of 18and 45 to be extras in the new Atom Egoyan film Ararat, which dealswith the Armenian genocide of 1915. There is a catch, however. Those who audition must be comfortable andcompetent in handling firearms as they will be cast as soldiers. The film also requires young and elderly men and women, as well aschildren between 10 to 15 years, old to play Armenian civilians. Extras will be paid $7.50 an hour. The casting call will be held Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. in theBalmoral Room of the Days Inn, 1818 16 Ave. N.W. (across from NorthHill Centre.)
