Maral
Shahan,I try not to respond to any posts which are obviously meant to antagonize our forum members. But I had to this time. That was completely uncalled for.You can' generalize like that and expect to be taken seriously. Please refrain from such statements from now on. Like someone else mentioned in an earlier post this forum in courtesy of an Armenian from Armenia and the majority of our contributing members are from Armenia, and I have not met a more intelligent, thoughtful, generous, fun bunch. And you are more then welcome to not post here anymore if you insist on being disrespectful. Edited September 16, 2007 by Maral

Yervant1
Dear Shahan, I share your anger for what had happened to our dear friend Azat and still happening yet I find the delivery of your message very disturbing that you blame the entire culture and the Armenian people from Armenia for this unfortunate incident, instead of blaming only the certain criminal elements. For an educated person that you are your expressions are far from it, since when the deeds of criminal people becomes the fault of all? For every bad person there are lots of good people out there who are hard working and law abiding citizens yet in your view they are all criminals, which is unacceptable for any reasonable person. I would expect from you nothing short of an apology to our members and stay away from blanket declarations of any sort.

But there's just so MUCH of this ridiculous news coming everyday from this bunch, it's difficult NOT to comment. (Could it be that 50% are criminals and only 50% are "hard working and law abiding citizens". That might be it. If so, my apologies to the less than 50%; it must be painful to be living among so many "goghakans" who are proud of being thieves.) Maybe Los Angeles + Yerevan == Bad news; and Moscow + Yerevan == Bad news? I don't know how the culture ever came to be this way... It's complicated. I don't even want to understand. I guess the 50% of the hard working ones have gotten used to this? That must be tough. On one Jewish lawyer's desk you will find clearly written "HELP OTHER JEWS" to remind him everyday of his higher purpose, the fundamental way of thinking that's let to a positive feedback loop in his community; and on at least one Հայաստանցի's you will find... Shahan Araradian
hey, shahanik.. ROYAL PURJ-HAMUDIAN degenerate A-hole! where in his post did Azat say "she was from Armenia?" This has Armenian from Armenia written all over it; typical modus operandi. I'll let you ask Azat what dialect of Armenian the woman spoke. P.S. I'm not from Bourj Hammoud, but would be proud if I was.
Sip
Shahan, stop your whining. No one gives a damn about what you have to complain about anymore.

Shahan here you go again reinventing the wheel. No one is telling you not to comment about the situation but do not paint the whole group with the same brush because of the criminal ones. Our Hayastansi members know about this problem and lots of times they express their dissatisfaction and pain about it in so many ways, so you are not the only person who sees this and gets frustrated because of it. You say maybe 50% of them honest, even if it is 1% you owe a honest apalogy to that 1%. I know and you darn know that most of them are hard working people and it's not "If so" it is SO therefore again I'm repeating myself I expect nothing short of a full apology without conditions and comments at this point to all those good people. I'm surprised that you don't get it that how this criminal elements came about? When you live for so long under a regime where in order to put food on the table you have to be resourcefull because your monthly salary does not even feed you for 10 days. In no way or form I'm condoning their actions and finding excuses but let us not accuse every person for being like that. It would be best that this discussion stops right here for now after Shahan's apology. Don't keep me waiting do the honourable thing and let's put this behind. I also expect from the other members to cool it off, I know you are hurt but please stop the unneccesary remarks. Thank you all.
Yervant1
RickJames if you can't express your opinion in a civilised way, you might as well not say it. We are open to any opinion as long it's done with respect to others and in a tasteful manner. Thanks.
Stormig
Azaty Poo, I hope you're faring better. Good luck. Don't blame yourself, and I hope the criminals end up paying for it with their arses.
