Էլիա Posted August 24, 2007 Report Share Posted August 24, 2007 (edited) Իմ ընկերս ինծի ըսաւ, որ հայերէնի դասարան մը պիտի ըլլայ բարձրագոյն վարժարանիս մէջ, գալ տարի: Բայց, չեմ գիտեր թէ որ մէ՞կ բարբառը պիտի ըլլայ: Եթէ արեւելեան բարբառը պիտի ըլլայ, կը կարծէ՞ք որ լաւ կ'ըլլայ եթէ ես կը մտնեմ դասարանին մէջ: Եթէ կը մտնեմ, հայերէն խօսողներո՞ւն դասարանը մտնեմ կամ նորեկներո՞ւն, որովհետեւ արեւելեան բարբառը շատ լաւ չեմ գիտեր: My friend told me that there's going to be an Armenian language class at my high school next year. But, I don't know which dialect it will be. If it's going to be the Eastern dialect, do you think it would be a good idea for me to enter the class? If I enter it, should I join the Armenian-speakers class or Beginners, because I don't know the Eastern dialect that well? Sip Posted August 24, 2007 Report Share Posted August 24, 2007 (edited) If it's the "Eastern" dialect, definitley take the class because you will learn real Armenian. Don't know how the classes will be organized but beginner ones start with the alphabet. Since you obviously can already read and write in Armenian pretty well, I would say try the intermediate as the beginner will probably be a waste of time for you. Armenian is Armenian and through experience in class you'll get used to the dialect without much problem. If you have the option take other than Beginners. Have fun!
