I think they imported them at some point under the Chevrolet nameplate, that must have been the vega or the monza in the early 70's..... ouf. I felt sorry for all those who drove them. For some reason everyone likes to pick on Opel cars. In Turkey, Opel Tigras are associated with gays. I guess in a country where Opels are a rarity, we don't have that impression. I drove an opel for a few years - but not a manta, a GT. IT was sweet.
