She's Syrian-Armenian and sings in Arabic and is very much liked in Syria and many coffee shops in Beirut also play her songs ! . I can attest to it, as I have actually heard her speak Armenian.Perhaps in the Tikranakert/Ourfa assyrian/assori dialect. When I asked her" Huda, irav e or dou Hay es"? She answered in impeccable ArmenianSee if she looks anything close to an Egyptian? Please notr that other iconFareed al Atrash was from Syria as well.
