I don't think it's that easy - why would people fo to the trouble of encoding their videos with watermarks, if such a program was fast/easy/free and readily available? No. You have to do it frame by frame. With Cinepaint you can script to automate the method you have used on multiple frames. But it will not be true removal, it is an art work rather. Cinepaint and Virtuandub are not used for the same purpouses, I forgot to tell you that Cinepaint support on Windows right now has been "discontinuated" so you'll have to either install a Linux distro or using MacOS computer. It is a great GNU BTW, based on GIMP so you have editing tools like in GIMP, you can use cloning of the prximities of the logo so that it does not become apparent, and then you apply the same action to a group of frames. One misconception you have is that you seem to think that the logo is something vectorial which is independent from the rest, and which a software can pick and then remove. Logo's after the encoding of the movie become as an integral part of each frames, to remove them, softwares uses the informations from the the pixels at the proximities of the logo to then remove them, with a limited success, so for best quality you have to retouch them.
