Arpa
Tsiranut Ծիրանհիւթ As promised. Under another subject topic we posted this with a caveat that it was under a serious topic. And now, fire away. Let your (Apricot) juices run to see how many puns,/barakhaghs we can come up with. My wish is that a Fresnan would launch an Apricot Juice/Tsiranhyut/Ziranut and make it the universal breakfast drink. They may choose to include an insert of a concise history of Armenia and the history of Apricot. How about our resident Fresnan Sako Ishkhan? During my last stay in Yerevan I would drown myself in Dzirani Hyut every morning at breakfast. (Sip @ Apr 20 2007, 05:19 AM) Hahaha ... Your first action: make Apricot Juice the official state drink Dzapik Dzapik Dzirani  Yes, let’s do that. We’ll call it Ziranoot(zirani hyut), and if that fails we’ll call it Sip-o-Ziran. :ap: Edited April 20, 2007 by Arpa
Zartonk
I think it is time for orange juice to step down. It doesn't boast much culture, and although like the apricot, it hails from India/Indochina/China, none of it's ancestors and variant carry the geographic name of a region and a people, at that. The cultivators matter, people. Not to forget that we have our very own resident Tziran expert, either.
