archakhper
I don't mean to cause a nuisance, but our program is aimed at helping the Armenian youth. The event is tomorrow. The other postings could have stayed up until after the event. Since I notice that many meaningful discussions about our problems as a community take place on these boards, I wanted to offer some of the members an opportunity to do something about these problems. I was trying to reach as many readers as possible. Not everyone goes into every folder. Thanks for the posting - but one will do... I've deleted the others. vava
I appreciate the fact that you'd like to promote your event (and certainly it seems worthwhile), and you're welcome to use our forum to get your word out. We like hearing about initiatives such as yours, and encourage them. Creating the same topic in various sections of the site is considered spamming - it's largely frowned upon. Furthermore, it may actually result in a negative perception of the event, as most webusers, especially in communities like this, dislike spam and even other forms of promotion. So it's best not to duplicate the same post several times on the board. Actually this little side discussion we're having will probably draw more attention than the other postings. Good luck, and I hope that all goes well tomorrow.
