Zartonk
This film is concerning Pagan Armenia on the eve of her conversion to Christianity in 301 A.D. It had been in production for a good 10+ years. a Public screening will take place on Thursday, January 27, 2006 at Grauman's Chinese theater in Hollywood (making it the first Armenian premiere at the venue). http://www.thepriestessmovie.com/ http://www.armeniandiaspora.com/archive/78783.html

Is this About Miss Mutafian? No. No. Never mind. Strike that. We have been screaming to the world that we are the FIRST CHRISTIAN NATION/STATE to no avail. Perhaps now the world can see how we transitioned from a cult of “priestesses”, without beards to that of “priests” with beards. Brings to mind Levon Shant’s “Hin Astvatsner”. http://www.armeniandrama.org/people.php?p=...n-shant&a=
Zartonk
You are welcome Arpa. Looks promising, although I don't know weather the plot glorifies our culture prior to the conversion or the conversion itself. I hope it's not another "we're the first nation ever", because the way I see it, no matter who was first, (almost) the entire globe is Christian, but only one group can claim to be ARMENIAN.
