Alena Avramenko from the Ukraine became the first Vice Miss Europe. Second Vice Miss became a Spanish and third and fourth places took ladies from Poland and Belarus respectively. The Ukrainian mass media reports say the contest ran for two hours and was broadcast in 12 countries. Lack of English knowledge let down Miss Armenia, Marina Vartanyan. The title of Miss Europe-Junior 2006 was awarded to a girl from Slovakia, Nikoletta Koshova, the beauty from Bulgaria, Galina Demireva, won the first place and the Russian beauty Marina Noskova - the second place. Girls at the age of 15-20 participated in the beauty competition. The requirements to girls included ability to communicate in English, knowledge of Internet and basic computer skills. Girls from CIS countries as well as from the Great Britain, France, Turkey, Romania, Finland, Hungary and other countries participated in the Contest.
