Anoushik
The generation of singers Aram has created have so outdone his "rabizutyun" that compared with others, sure, his songs sound fine. But I hope you all see that there is nothing Armenian about those songs. Listen to them. I just wish they'll start calling those songs Arabic songs with Armenian lyrics. Armine3773
I am so glad this thread was created..I always wondered why some Armenians prefer Aram Asatryan over Tata Simonyan. I mean, Aram Asatryan has some good songs but his voice gives me a headache! I can't listen to more than one or two songs without getting a headache. Tata, on the other hand, I can listen to him for hours! His music is like bliss. Seriously, his voice and his lyrics can make anyone want to fall in love. My favorite song at the moment is 'Vont Chesirum Kez" and my favorite dance song is "Shaba Daba Dash Dash." Has anyone heard his song called 'Sayat Nova?" it's really good! I wish I can go to one of his concerts or meet him. My dad's friend met Tata in Yerevan and she said he was the nicest and most down to earth guy ever!
