tigranisbasileus
I noticed that P'yong Yang has a bid for the 2012 Winter Olympics. if North Korea can why not Armenia? This is an opportunity for the armenians ALL armenians to work for a positive new project which shall bring attention to the Armenian Culture and also to the Cause. The diaspora and their respective lobbies should get involved. I believe that I am th first to come up with this idea: It is worth a million marches, protests and petition. Also, people shall get to know your culture and when they know your culture they can also feel your pain and sympathize with the cause. So, all you kaliforniahyes, iranohyes, canadohyes and the rest: start the movement. Time for some positive exposure and projects Yerevan 2016! p.s:Can you imagine the $ you all would make? Arpa
debt not dette. One step at a time. Let's first try and open a McDonalds in Armenia before thinking about Winter Olympics. Well said Seb! Yeah. Yeah! Pyongyang! Speaking of which, during this Fourth of July season, instead of hearing- "And the rockets' red glare, The Bombs bursting in air"(does anyone know the words to the "Star Spangled Banner?"), when the Shuttle was launched, the only prevailing news about missiles and fireworks was about the North Korean Missile (Crisis). The American media, hungry for anything new, needs some new sources of news besides the North Korean Missiles and Palestinian rockets…Whatever happened to the Ground Hog day and Gay Marriage?? Are they not news anymore? Olympics? Will the Ill Man of Pyongyang, or whatever his name, run in the nude? As to Yerevan, host to the Olympics. Will that be after they host the Indy 500, the World Series of Baseball, and the NBA Basketball Tours? How much does it cost? Erku Luma? Two cents? How many Lumas(Drams) does Yerevan have? How much money do you have? Are you willing to underwrite the entire package of zillions of Drams? What we need is not invite the world to Yerevan to show our emaciated muscles, but to go to the Olympics wherever it may be, Beijing…? to show the world …OUR MUSCLES. So far? Hot air and mushy muscles!! Edited July 6, 2006 by Arpa

phantom22
Hey Seb,, HELL NO!!!!!!!Are you nuts? Joan Kroc died relatively young eating her company's garbage and their last CEO who ate their meals every day died of colon cancer at 42 years old. Armenia has enough health problems without McDonalds to make things worse. Why am I not surprised that you do not question ANYTHING? debt not dette. One step at a time.
