Zartonk
During the decades of Soviet occupation, Armenia was always renowned for being a vigorous hotbed of intellectual activity within the USSR. I am curious wheather there were any achievements during the stretch of Soviet Space activity and the Space Race that Armenia or Armenian scientists were responsible for, and wheather there was ever an Armenian cosmonaut (the two words sound so fantastic ). Were we present, or too ethnic for the Reds?

I know that they used to make parts and complete scientific devices for the spacecraft. I knew an engineer from there and he told me that soviet astronauts used to come over to test the equipment in situ.
