Zartonk
I've seen a lot of seperate topics on specific news or the ROA National team, but I could'nt find one soley dedicated to all of the sport. So I thought, hey, lets get one rolling! Post any major news, reviews, predictions and etc., you can even talk about your favorite clubs and teams. Whatever you want! Let's talk "Football". Both were soley composed of Armenian players.

Zartonk
I see your point. I guess I didn't want Amerigahyes to get confused. it's more specific. Anyways, I will say the French man was Michele Platinni. And about Eusebio: he was'nt the only one to play on two national squads. The Argentine born great (who is considered by some the best all around player ever) Alfredo "the blond arrow" Di Stefano played on not 2 but 3 NATIONAL TEAMS before retirement. . They were Argentina, Columbia and Spain, respectively.Yet interestingley enough, he never played a single World Cup match. He is also one of the most decorated players of Real Madrid's history. David Beckham's #23 jersey was chsen as a tribute to his achievements. http://www.newagebd.com/2005/jan/27/total2-b.jpg http://www.123football.com/players/d/alfredo-di-stefano/alfredo-di-stefano2.jpg http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39234000/jpg/_39234334_becksdistefanopa.jpg

Zartonk
Edward jan, I know it was Eusebio! I meant that, but I got Trezor wrong. Look who a guest on Maradona's "Night of the 10" talk show on Monday..! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4385228.stm Apparently, he considers Castro a god... skhara
My prediction is Italy. Its long overdue. Although Germany being the host nation may have a strong run. I hope they don't have any bullcrap shananigans that happenned in South Korea this time around.
armjan
i am certain that my fav team, argentina will not make it! hope brazil doesn't win
skhara
I like Argentina as well. They have much better chance in the Latin American world however. I'm with you on Brazil. I'll give them a bit of credit though, they always bring the ugliest team.
Eloren
any predictions as to who will win next wc? I was really amazed on the Czech republic's talent, they played extremely well! But unfortunately, they don't seem to be part of the WC this year Anyway, i don't like germans, i am completely fed up from Brazil, France used to be a good team now they suck.. So i'll go for Italy (unless they end up in a penalty shoot, they are cursed )
Zartonk
Italy is my first choice too, but I really want England to win. Germany also has a chance and the Czechs are amazing. (Down with Argentina though...!) Edited November 6, 2005 by Zartonk
