Arpa
Full of Flatulence. That is foul smelling gas. Cost of Energy You may not have seen the price of gasoline yet. When was the last time you filled up? Was not this fiasco of a war to ensure the free flow of petroleum, or better yet , to keep the price in check? How abut that pipeline from Baku that was meant to teach those “camel jockies” a lesson or two! Did we not read it correctly? Is our comprehension lacking? Or was it written that ;”Saddam must be stopped from underselling the crude in the grey market”. Did "helliburton" have anything to do? Have you noticed that since Saddam was stopped from underselling- the price of petroleum has doubled, no, tripled, no, quadrupled. Wait till this Iraq quagmire is cleared, you may want to have stock in candle companies, and renew your friendship with the candlestick maker. Speaking of science, I am surprised that bigoted idiot Pat Robertson and his disciples in high places have not yet declared; “If God had wanted us to have alternative sources He would not have stored crude oil under our as… esheks“. (remember the saying; “If God had wanted us to fly He would have given us wings”? Whom do we hang at the nearest oil derrick??!!
phantom22
Bin Laden's operation attacked the US, and the US retaliated by attacking Saddam's regime. On July 1, 1972 Saddam had nationalized the Iraqi oil fields. Many of Bush's parents closest friends in Dallas went through hand-wringing on that day. An opportunity arose to recoup their losses. Not to say that Saddam was a benevolent leader of his country. If things stabilize in Iraq, it will be for the best.
Arvestaked
You know what's great? Driving about 600 miles a week and paying $3.00 per gallon of gas.
