Home Remodeling Project, My Turn.

It's my turn to show off photos. :D

This is my guest bathroom. We tore out the old vanity, replaced one with a granite top, painted walls and added a shower door. When I return from Armenia the master bathroom is next. We purchased the exact same vanity, but with double sinks for the master bath.

Looks great!

You did it all by yourself?

You didn't add t he mirror yet?

Something oval shaped and framed would be gorgeous there...maybe something in a brushed silver?

What are you going to do in the bedroom?

We just had our downstairs tiled...I want to shoot myself ...next time we do anything big like this ,I'm leaving town for a month!

I see you read in the bathroom ;)

and you know we all have those paper towels in the bathroom, and they never seem to belong there, wonder if there is an attractive and functional way to have them in there.

I did the vanity and faucet with help from a friend. I couldn't do the shower door because it was an odd shape, it needed that side panel. The painting a family friend who's a painter did it.

The mirror will be as you described. I'm looking for something oval that will match either the faucet or the handles on the vanity. I'm not doing anything in the bedroom yet, just the master bath. Yes, I've read that book 2343 times now. ;)

As far as the paper towel, it's a necessary evil. I found a chrome elegant looking (shocking that there is such a thing, eh?) paper towel holder which I shall purchase.

I hear you on the tile project. I bet your house was full of dust, right?

Curtains for a shower door?

I thought the same thing...but you know a few of my friends have it and it softens the shower door quite nicely....it's not my taste, but it works for them ..except for thos lacey ones, blaahhh, they remind of old women nightgowns.
