Azat
Armat jan, what pretty and aged wood you have in your attic. If I were you I would tear down everything and use that somewhere in the house.

Armat
Folks I just finished installing the window at my attic or studio to be.It was a major PITA but lucky I followed strong framing priciples.I even have solid metal corner supports which most contractors simply avoid. On the outside I wrapped the openning sides with protectwrap which I special ordered from on line.Fantastic material made up of dupont plastic flexible and self glues.Waterprooves,weatherproove.Anyway I finished it without killing myself by falling from 30 feet.It may be not a lot of hight but standing on that ladder 30 feet feels like 50 feet. Anyway here is pic with my new view. Azat any questions I can help
