Konukcu: Yerevan Will Not Open Its Archives

Turkish Press

June 4 2005

ERZURUM (AA) - Prof. Dr. Enver Konukcu of Erzurum Ataturk University

Department of History said on Friday, "our state archives have already

been opened. However, Yerevan will not open its archives since there

are so many documents which constitutes evidence of massacres committed

by Armenians against Turks."

Holding a news conference, Prof. Dr. Konukcu said, "the Ottoman Empire

faced a series of Armenian uprisings in eastern Anatolia in 1829,

under Sultan Abdul-Hamid II. After problems became more serious, the

Ottoman Empire adopted the Relocation Law. About 12 thousand Armenians

had been living in Erzurum when the law had come into force. 5 thousand

of them had been relocated. The Ottoman Empire had taken all necessary

measures to protect the Armenian people during the relocation."

"Armenians claim that 1.5 million Armenians had been killed by

Turks. In fact, Turks have never committed genocide in their history.

Our state archives have already been opened. But, Yerevan will not

open its archives since there are many reports proving massacres

committed by Armenians against Turks," he said.

Konukcu noted that the media had an important place in prevalence of

such allegations, adding that owners of many newspapers in the United

States were of Armenian and Greek origin.

Maybe the fool should first learn how to convert the Islamic callender dates to Occidental dates, Abdul Hamid II was not the sultan in 1829.

Konukcu noted that the media had an important place in prevalence of

such allegations, adding that owners of many newspapers in the United

States were of Armenian and Greek origin.

I have tried to consider those fools, at least in terms of their brains physiology, as normal. I really can't anymore,... so, in Erzerum there were 12 thousand Armenians? The moron is using the figures of Hamids yardstick method of 3% maxima for the Armenian population... from which Hamid came to 450,000 as total Armenian population in the entire Ottoman Empire. But of course given that the moron farts that the media importance is the result of Armenians and Greeks owning American newspapers, we can assume how credible this chimp brained humain is.

Are such two legged morons the kind of "professors" in history one can get at Ataturk University? You read them, and ignore their title, you'de believe that they are garbagemen interviewed to give their opinions.

As for Armenias archive... even if Armenians were to commit genocide in those era, there could be no documents in Armenias archive to show anything, for the simple reason that there was no Armenia.

A wild guess! The same entities that own almost everything in USA. Judeo-Anglo-Saxons and their dupes. :)

Yes, good guess. But it is evident that you haven’t studied in Ataturk University, hence – poor knowledge of "facts". Judeo-WASPS are closeted Armenians!

Recently in one Azeri forum someone was insisting that one of the reasons Turks are “losing the propaganda war with Armenians” is the fact that there are many influential Armenian Senators in Washington. The poster is (or at least claims to be) a political science graduate from Baku University.

Is the Azeris in question, Tabib Huseynov? If that is him, he really is a graduate of Baku University.

I was never able to communicate with Azeris, if people thinks Turks are ultra-nationalists, Azeris(based on my personal experience) are even more nationalistic.

I don’t know his name – he is using a moniker in this forum: forum.azerinet.com/index.php?showforum=2

The forum is in Russian, and I do not, of course, participate – I simply go there every now and then, mostly for humour.

Nationalism – I can live with that. But in this forum you are most likely to encounter vivid stupidity mixed with infinite hate, and that’s fortunately, funny rather than dangerous or even serious.

I mostly enjoy reading their accounts of “History of Azerbaijan” and typical patriotic calls like this: Пора резать армян! Банзай! (“Time to slaughter Armenians! Banzai!”), or this kind of reassurances: Мы еще до Еревана дойдем, иншаллах!!! (“We will get to Yerevan itself, inshallah!!!”) http://forum.azerinet.com/index.php?showtopic=2591&st=0

And so on. Good reading.
