The Government "forced" protesters to cut out "Turkey" from their banners? (and they complied?) I am absolutely appalled....These (so-called) protesters should have refused. If they were then arrested & jailed - what better publicity - can you imagine the trial - first it could become a platform for Genocide publicizing – secondly how can a law be allowed that protects other nations from criticism by ones own people in a protest? Makes no sense to me…I want to know what "forced" here means. Because I believe that they were just "told" to change the text. A good protester will not put his stuff down until it is taken away from him by force. And in that case you may even get publicity on the national news. About the freedom of speech in the Netherlands. There IS freedom of speech. We are almost famous for that. It's a pity that I don't have much time to spare at the moment, but I AM going to sort this thing out as soon as I can and get back to it on this Forum. In the meanwhile... If there are readers on this Forum, who want to join me in actually doing something about this Armenian problem in the Netherlands, please contact me. I think there is plenty of work to do! By the way, when I mention "Dutch" people I don't mean "just" the redish or pink ones with milky white legs. I mean anyone who speaks a fair bit of Dutch and feels at home in the Dutch multicultural society.

15levels
To answer to THOTH. => The blame must be put to the "April 24th" comittee here in Netherlands for not conducting a smart policy and working against the interests of the Armenians here. There is NO doubt in that in my view and as long as they keep acting like this- genocide recognition in Netherlands will remain a dream. Armenians will remain to be intimidated by whoever is pleased to do so- government, turks, whoever. Because we are "law abiding citizens". Thats such a piece of c***. "Damn shame, doesnt "April 24 Committee Netherlands" know that Dutch play by the book in this country and "April 24 Committee Netherlands"should never have agreed to these terms, or perhaps that was his/their plan, to agree and then do something else to make noise. If "April 24 Committee Netherlands" knew police will interfere, instead of removing them "April 24 Committee Netherlands" should have had protested and at least then something would leak to the big fish press and make some people listen. Either way it didnt work. Its gone really WRONG this time. And about the route- that's really exceptional. I think Mr.Sepoyan ("April 24 Committee Netherlands") qualifies for managing something similar with these methods somewhere in Africa and not in Netherlands where to be in the politics means to understand the mentality and culture of the country."
