Dave
Is it possible, that Turkey - if it recognizes the Armenian Genocide - does not pay any compensations, just because the Genocide was carried out by the Ottoman Empire? Nakharar
What really should be asked is who defines compensation?
Arpa
Is it possible, that Turkey - if it recognizes the Armenian Genocide - does not pay any compensations, just because the Genocide was carried out by the Ottoman Empire? style_images/master/snapback.png Did the fact that the holocaust was pepetrated by the Nazis absolve modern Germany of compensation and liability? They are still paying even as we speak. Don't fall for that Ottoman schmottoman trap. As stated several times before, at one time Armenians advanced that concept, we proposed that we only use "Ottoman"when referring to the AG and spare modern Turkey, they rejected it and in so doing they involved themselves if only by association. And now they must suffer the consequences. Ottoman, kakoman, Turk, turd, they are all made of the same turkey droppings
Dave
Some Turks and other deniers might say that post-WWII Germany chose to pay for what Nazi Germany did.

Turkey lost the war (WWI), but her Western masters covered up her dirty deeds. That's the only difference.

So who needs their recognition????? No matter how much they kick and scream, they just need to be dragged into an international court of justice. There is more than sufficient evidence. We just need to shut up their co-perpetrators, the chosen tribe.
