Artaxias Posted December 25, 2004 Report Share Posted December 25, 2004 Lycians were already assimilated by Greeks, much like how say certain Central and Eastern Anatolian tribes and people were assimilated by Armenians. St. Nicholas was Greek by todays standards but back then you could have been Greek or Armenian but first and foremost you were Roman.
