Oh well, you'll be missing out. What's happenning is Sasha Baron Cohen, the comedian (of Ali G fame) latest creation, Borat, is on the telly tommorrow at 9.30pm. This character is from Kasakstan and he comes to England to report on English ways of life and to imitate his idea of an english gentleman! it's called "Borat's guide to britian" In the TV programme Ali G you only got short clips but this is a whole programme, showing Borat in Kasakstan, then him in england. While laughing my head off at it with my family, I noticed that , although they made him from Kasakstan, led me to beleive it was more of a low-blow towards imitating Armenians, and from the look on my mothers face she picked up on that too and she doesnt really too sharp on picking up on armenian things. I personally am the kind of person who does not mind laughing at myself, as long as it's not nasty (and it certainly wasnt: I thought it was more kinda cute) but I think other armenians might see and mabye feel slightly offended ? I don't know. I bet he couldnt openly make him armenian becasue it would be too controversial, especially after the genocide bill passed recently. It is very intelligent humour..but that was actually one of the things I was driving at. I know armneians have the inclnation to be anti-semitic, so I was wondering what jews think of armenians..I myself am NOT anti-semitic. The only thing I resent is their alliance with Turkey, but that is some thing political and off the subject. Anyway I thought it might be a little sly dig in good taste, but I am not sure..
