I hadn't heard much about this opera but after finding out about it in this forum I looked up some articles in the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians. It says that Tigrane was written by the librettist Domenico Lalli and Alessandro Scarlatti composed the music for the opera Tigrane in 1715. I tried to see if Vivaldi wrote the opera based on the same libretto but didn't find anything. Does anyone know when Vivaldi wrote this opera?
