Armat, I am not sure that star explosion could be called violence.

Not in people ordinary sense but more in terms of friction, tension, compression, release

Is'nt it ironic that people feel the same when acting in a violant matter. There is tension, friction and release of some kind after the act.

I am merely hinting that our very chemistry is a result of destruction, fusion, heat ,friction, release, in short violent act and why would I not attribute these values and behavior to our very source of existance.I am sometimes inclined to believe that we are unable to explain the very basic foundemtals of our lives becouse we are a product of what we are trying to explain.

I see what you mean. On one hand, there is nature with all its frictions, explosions, tensions, etc... in other words, nature is ruled by natural laws. We are part and parcel of the nature one would say. One would also say, as long as we are governed by natural laws we are slaves of the nature. But then there comes religion and says - not so. We do not have to be the slaves of nature, we can be free. When I say religion, I really mean yoga. This is where man's struggle for freedom from nature starts. Anger, lust, aggression, greed, all thease are natural impulses that originate in the mind and manifest as human actions generally recognized as negative. What Yoga teaches as is we are not slaves of the nature, but nature is our slave. We can conquer nature by means of spiritual practice. This is not mere symbolic speech, it is real and entails very serious efforts. Once you conquer nature you are in command of it. In particular, you are in command of your body, mind, emotions, health, life, etc. You don't get angry if you don't want to, you don't get sad if you don't want to. You are always happy and calm, there is a lot more... I feel like I need to start a new thread about yoga.
