  1. It's my mother's maiden name, and fairly prominent in Brazil, especially in fashion design and apparel manufacturing. Also, there is a French singer known as Danyel Gerard whose birth name is Gerard Daniel Kherlakian. He also has a Brazilian connection, having spent a portion of his childhood in Rio de Janeiro. If anyone has information on the etymology (meaning) of the name, and/or its history, I would be very grateful.
  2. From Tartarus via Tartary, and God willing to Tartarus they shall return!
  3. A lot of these girls are stunning. Question: are all these photos of Armenians in Armenia, or are there also Diaspora Hye? By the way, I am myself half-Armenian, half-Italian.

    Braziliatsi?

How do you say "Brazilian" in Armenian? Is it "braziliatsi" by any chance? What about the feminine, "braziliuhi" perhaps? I'm having to guess because all my relatives who knew more than two words of Armenian are dead. Also, could you tell me how to say "Portuguese" meaning the Portuguese language? Please post the response in both Armenian and Latin script, if you are so inclined. Յես կհոսում եմ պորտուգերեն.<==Probably hilariously bad Armenian.
