  1. Rubo, According to a recent state-of-the-art genetic study completed in the ROA, but quickly buried for political reasons, the Armenian are a mongrel race with a very wide y-chromosome mix. This compares with the Georgian who demonstrate a very narrow y-chromosome mix. Our genetic fathers hail from everywhere, Northern Europe to China with a large percentage holding the Jewish Cohen modal haplotype gene. Why do WE call ourselves Armenians and not mongrels? It is based on culture and religion. Same with the Turks.
  2. Rubo, Yes, only through open respectful discussion will we Armenians be able to overcome our problems and rectify the past. I welcome discussion with you and others under these parameters.
  3. Rubo, Armenians have every right to be concerned and upset about Israeli diplomatic moves against the Armenian cause. That is not Anti-Semitism, nor is concern for the actions of certain Jewish organizations. I feel the same way as you do about this. The question is: how to approach this issue? Do you think that making defamatory comments about Jews on this forum or other forums (which I know are monitored by Jewish organizations) will improve the situation. I believe it will make it worse. The Jews have a siege mentality as do we, based on close similarities in our histories. The geopolitics of the West Asia region is dictating much of the Israeli-Armenian rift. I do not dicount some Jews wish to monopolize genocide discussion with thie Holocuast at the expense of the Armenian and others. These are not enlightened Jews, who were the majority of holocaust scholars who presented their academic conclusions to the New York Times. Israel is presently headed by an extreme hawk who established his reidence in the center of the Moslem Quarter of Old Jerusalem to act as a irritant to the Palestinians. Do you expect this "old soldier" to give a damn about the Armenian Genocide? The Turks and Iraqis are sitting for political reasons on what they know to be true from archaeological finds, that both the Armenians and the Kurds are closely tied to the Jews. Open your minds beyond your traditional beliefs. As for your homosexual comments, there really are not many homosexuals in this world, just homosexual acts. Most labeled as homosexual have and can find an attraction to the opposite sex. For both these and those who do not have any attraction to the opposite sex, it is clearly apparent that this is in their wiring. This phenomonon has been with humanity since ancient times, through all cultures. Some will also find defection, a daily human need, disgusting. Others accept it as part of God's plan, just like eating a meal. Sovietized, Islamized or doctinaire Christian beliefs can dictate death for all of these persons, but the next generation of heterosexuals will bring forth more of these persons. Given the HIV virus, a killer virus which is prolferating in the CIS, ignorance should not prevail. It sometimes takes up to 20 years for this virus to become apparent. By then someone who may have homosexual experience could have infected their spouse and children. Very few viruses have such a long incubation period.
  4. Rubo, If the majority of your nationality are so tied to tradition that reason or human decency are not even considered in their views or actions, then it is not hatred that one feels but disgust. As both you and Alla were formed mentally within the Soviet or Arab mental sphere, you do not have the capabilty of thinking clearly. One has to be raised in a free society to be able to think clearly. Those raised under the Soviet religion, dogmatic Eastern Orthodoxy (includes Oriental Orthodox), traditional Roman Catholicism or under Islam are pre-programmed by their socialization process. Therefore to you I am a self-appointed moron. To those among the progressive American academic elite, I am part of the mainstram. You guysare neanderthals living in the 1800s.
  5. Alla, You seem to wear your hatred for the Jews on your sleeve, as if it is a badge of honor for you. Do you have Sovietized or an Arabized mentality? Do you want to gain favor with the Russian skinheads who are beating Armenians to a pulp or with the Palestinian gunmen who starved, threatened and stole from our priests in the Bethlehem compound??
  6. I was once very close with the female first cousin of one of the top ten most prominent Greek-Americans in American history. She was so much healthier mentally concerning sexual matters than the Armenian girls I knew. Since Kazza is Greek on her mother's side, I assume that is why she is so mentally healthy on this issue. Since HIV sometimes takes about 20 years to develop in the body, we do not know the true extent of infection in the ROA. The sensibilities of those who don't want to talk about these things may further devastate our populace.
  7. The medical term is "fellatio." Unfortunately in the present age shyness about sex can lead to massive death. HIV will kill off a large part of humanity. The knowledgeable ones know that nothing is as it seems. I have protected myself by remaining celibate except for the time that I was monogomous with my ex-wife. Most of humanity and most Armenians are ostriches. There is not only drug use transmission but every family man you see can possibly be a transmitter to their wives and girlfriends. Many of these men frequent prostitutes and some have had occasional trysts with other men. This includes (as we already know) Catholic priests and also some of the most illustrious Armenians we know. WE CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO BE SHY ABOUT SEX!!!!!!! IT IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH!!!!!!
  8. MJ, I see that you are coming out of your closet to show us all what a mean-spirited conservative you are. So you want to see me in the gutter? Reminds me of the Armenians in my youth who resented me because I looked more European than Armenian. Your friends in the Administration want to see a lot of hungry people willing to work at wages comparable to that paid in the third world. Then they will not have to ship goods back to the developed countries, as they will have abundant slave labor available domestically.
  9. MJ, Thanks the miserable domestic policies of your hero George W. Bush, I have had to got back to work in my old age. That is why I am not here to banter with the great King Arghisti. My investments have fallen through the bottom of the barrel while Georgie Bush's friends have embezzled billions of dollars for their multiple estates and yachts. I wish that we had the Great Fornicator back in the White House. His policies allowed me to retire at 50. Now Bush will put me on Skid Row in my so-called Golden Years.
  10. Nairi, My grandfather was born in the 1870's and killed by the Turkish troops in 1915. He was important enough to warrant a bullet. Given the family history on that side of the family, he would have not lived past 70. He would have been dead by 1945. My other grandfather was born in the 1860's and would have lived until his 80's had he not been killed in 1915. He too would have been dead by 1945. My grandmothers both lived into their 80's. I would not have known my grandfathers irregardless. You are saying that Ali and other Turks should ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness for what? Did the Turks of today conduct a Genocide? NO! If a father kills a neighbor and steals his property, do you try his son in court for the crime? I don't think so. Do you compel the son of the killer to give the loot back to the family of the murdered one? Yes, you do. How can you blame the "Turk in the street" today for believing that a Genocide did not occur when for 80-odd years their government has been telling them that the Armenian losses were war losses?
  11. Aurguplu, I know that you are not so naive to believe that I am the only Armenian who believes that certain parts of present-day Turkey rightfully belong to Armenia. Kars and Ardahan provinces were part of Armenian provinces under the Czars. Ownership of these provinces adjacent to the Armenian Republic can even be found in the Armenian constitution. So my comments should not alter your trust or lack of trust of Armenians one iota. Given what you have related in the past about your family, I have no doubt that our families knew each other. It is probable that they had business and governmental dealings with each other and may even have sat together over dinner at each other's homes. These Amiras did not want to rock the boat, for they had too good a life in what was then Constantinople. I know that my family members tried to talk sense into various groups of Armenian agitators but to no avail. They were not part of the movement. Their fate was in no part a result of their actions as their operations were an integral part of the Turkish economy. Please seperate one issue from the other.
  12. Alla, Did you know that in LA the police authorities consider Armenians "scum of the Earth" unless proven otherwise, as a well-known conservative figure such as former Governor Deukmejian or City Attorney Philibosian? Stop blanketly slandering the Jews. It makes you and your fellow Armenians look bad.
  13. The Turkish government will be building a museum in Turkey to counteract Armenian Genocide claims and will be increasing internet dissemination of selected Ottoman archival information. They are directing the museum's work toward their own people, who are slowly realizing that their government has been lying to them all these decades. Other disinformation is to be directed toward visitors to Turkey. Since they are allowing all our historic sites to crumble into dust, eventually they will not have to mention the Armenian presence at all. They know that they are on a slippery slope. The old methods are not working anymore. Only by continuing to brainwash their own people can they maintain their credibility. In the nations of the West, their line is no longer being bought.
  14. Yes, Kurds live today in many regions which are a part of historical Armenia. We should not expect to regain ALL of our former territories. Many in the Diaspora will NEVER return to the homeland. We should focus on areas adjacent to the ROA. As for the thousands of acres of lands confiscated from my family, the lands confiscated from other Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians and the millions of dollars of funds in the Ottoman Imperial Bank confiscated from my family and other Armenians, these should be tried in the Turkish civil courts and the Internation court in the Hague.
  15. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS SMOKING????????? Those who commandeered the American jets and drove them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were young Arab men of the Islamic faith. How could Jews have had their hand in this? Are you saying that these guys were Jews masquerading as Arabs? Get real!!!!!!!!! There are some revelations, however, that top members of the Bush Adminstration were aware that an attack of this type was imminent and decided to let it play out for the political benefit they would gain in it's aftermath.
  16. This propogandizing is nothing new. Dadrian's works have brilliantly neutralized every one of the Turkish government's discussion points. It is all about money and power. Until the Turkish military finds themselves losing ground due to the Genocide issue, nothing will change. Just like the Mullahs in Iran hold the real power, it is the military in Turkey. As long as Turkey has geographic leverage they will play it to the max. We should strengthen our alliance with Greece and Iran and improve it with Bulgaria. Every one of Turkey's neighbors should jointly demand a return of territory confiscated by the Turks, including Kurdish lands. The issue should be raised on the floor of the U.N.
  17. So you say it is the genes? But alas, I am 1/8 Assyrian and only 7/8 Armenian. I am soon 55 years old and do not have more than a few strands of grey. Both my parents were grey at 45. Obviously, I have gotten under the skin of some here. It is precisely what I intended to do. Time for you guys to start working together and join the European world.
  18. This "Old Hag" doesn't look a day over 35. If I had lived a "normal" Armenian life of Raki, pasterma, borags, soujouk, cigars, etc., I would be an old grey man with a receeding hairline and a typical Armenian big belly. Let's face it, the Jews have influence much greater than ours. That is why the Holocaust is discussed in every media source and our Genocide is ignored. My moving to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem will not make a hide or hair of difference for the Armenian Cause. The biggest problem lies within the Armenian psyche, a people who are more concerned with shooting down their fellow Armenians than furthering their cause. Talaat is in another world laughing himself silly. His words have rung true again. When he was informed that a large group of Armenian militas was coming to his residence to kill him, he ordered hs guards to prepare for the sole Armenian who would arrive. The informer repeated to him that a LARGE group of Armenians was on it's way. To which Talaat replied that he only expected one because they would kill themselves off, save one.
  19. In the realm of world affairs, Armenians are IMBECILES!!!!! Clinton goes out and Bush comes in and Jews are still sitting in critical positions of the new administration. The Armenians crushed my budding political career because I was a Democrat. That was thirty years ago. Same thing happening now. Glendale conservative scum shot down Krekorian to elevate Missakian, who lost the genral Assembly election. Only thing these IMBECILES accomplished was getting a Hispanic Democrat elected instead of an Armenian Democrat.
  20. My ex-wife's grandparent's estate, one of the most desired in the Beirut area, was confiscated by the Moslems in 1975. They were told to leave their home at gunpoint. Not much dissimilar from what happened to my family members at their Eastern Anatolia residence in 1915, except these Beirutzis were not killed. Luckily my grandmother, father and aunt were at their other residence in Pera at the time, or I would not be here today.
  21. Rubo, I have heeded your advice. Yet, what do you see as the outcome of our problems with the Israelis (re: Armenian lands) and Jewish lobbying groups in the US (re: Genocide Resolutions and other concerns)?
  22. I operate from first-hand experience with Armenians. I understand now in my middle years what I did not understand in my youth, why my father, scion of one of the most illustrious Armenian families, changed his name, his religion (to Protestant) and his identity.
  23. Kashishian, Rubo: Who are you to state MY intentions. You and your kind have been in charge of Armenian affairs for about a century now. Have you done a good job? I don't think so. My family and their friends were in charge of Armenian affairs for the previous 50 years and the Armenians rose to financial and academic heights. You are a bunch of DAKH KLOOCHS who bring us nothing but misery. I am concerned with Armenians. You are more focused on the interests of Palestinians. That is why you have brought down the Israelis wrath on our heads.
  24. This article was posted by a fellow Armenian, Rubo, whose nation-state, the ROA, has the higest homogeneity of natives within the former Soviet Union. The pot (Armenia) calling the kettle (Israel) black.
