  1. They better prosecute these punks to the fullest extent of the law.
  2. How can they? Our relations with Russia depend on our relations with Georgia. Until we have a common border with Russia this porblem is going to remain.
  3. What kind of names are these are: Dashbulakh ? Baludja ?
  4. I like the ARF but I would never support them since they are a socialist party. Promoting socialism is not only silly today but just stupid. They are also way too cult like. They need to be revamped and moved towards the center-right.
  5. Precisely. Very few Armenians can trace their ancestry beyond the 19th century and none can beyond the 17th. Many here like to ignore the "obvious reasons".
  6. How come the ARF is part of the "March 8 Alliance" headed by Hezbollah?
  7. Absolutely. Screw them. They always vote against us.
  8. You meant proof right? I never said they're not I said they were Armenian. Anyone who self identified as an Armenian was Armenian. Imposing modern concepts of race and nation to a clan in the 5th century is not going to work.
  9. Mamikonian origins really don't matter since they considered themselves Armenian. But whatever they were they were certainly not of Han Chinese origin. If we believe that they were from the East, than they were in all likelihood either of Iranic origins, most likely Sogdians or of Tocharian origin. The other popular theory is that they were from a Kartvelian tribe called Tzans/Chenq.
  10. The problem is that they are seeking means to leave the country.
  11. They come through Georgia. The border between Armenia and Turkey is closed.
  12. How popular would you say mugham (traditonal Azeri Turkish folk music) is in Armenia? What is it exactly ? Is that when the rabiz do vocal modulation?
  13. No such thing. They died out under the overlordship of Augustus and were replaced by foreign non-dynastic kings until the Arsacid Dynasty of Parthia firmly established itself in Armenia during the reign of Nero.
