This is indeed one great film. The main thing I recall is that it reminded my grandmother of her own childhood in Communist Russia and brought tears to her eyes.

Has anybody ever seen a "bambir"(the instrument) before? Are they made anywhere today? As far as I know, it's a stringed guitar-like instrument. I was also wondering about its origin and weather its completely Armenian.
