hey i was just trying to eulogize i guess i shouldn't have stretched it to the political level, huh? well it's nice to know someone isn't attacking me for having tried to say something nice about him. However arpa, on the same token, it is our duties as americans (wether we have been in this land for generations or for minutes) to give back to our country what has been given to us and use it for the best: the right to be heard, to voice our opinions. America will only go forward if it lives on the criticisms of others that it tries to improve. We do let the guy rest in peace, but at the same time we say that whatever he did wrong should not be repeated by future presidents...

hey i'm not saying Raegan was the best pres. he wasn't by far...at the beginning i was just trying to eulogize and show respect for the guy....now if you want to talk about his faults than I can start. sure I agree with you, of course w/out doubt the soviets didn't hear about the speech...why would they give a damn? the only thing i sort of agreed with about that speech that the propaganda is saying is that it got the american people to hate the russians.... more...

oh then if the Russians knew than why didn't they just ignore the Americans and wait for the American economy to collapse instead of racing with them and collapsing their own? it was a war of who could stand up longer...the Russians must have had to be pretty stupid to have imitated the Americans I'm not supporting raegan i never have- in fact this was more luck than anything anyways

Actually it is much simpler than this: I think it might only be if you have Windows XP but anyways I know that if you go on Control Panel and it says Language and Settings or whatever you can add languages and switch back and forth...post back if you have a problem...it actually types armenian characters on anything, word documents (the only thing I havn't got it to work on is AOL Instant Messaging) but otherwise it should really work...then to know which letters are what I suppose you just paste stickers on...and it has just about every language of every civilized people and I already found it has both western and eastern

It is not only the Armenians who say this...it is common practice among various religions to eulogize at funerals rather than to cite a long list of faults commited by the deceased. The Jews say that when a person dies, his good deeds will be remembered in this world but in the "next world" he will be held accountable for his faults... In my modest opinion, Raegan was one of the numerous "clowns" on capital hill, but I believe that he should be noted as a significant president in terms of ending the tensions of the cold war, and easing the Soviet Union in to realizing that their government would not work. He applied his previous career as a screen actor to his presidential duties in office, using the "SDI"- the Star Wars thing to get the Soviet Union to collapse...he saw it was working and that the Americans liked him, so he continued, fluctuating as often as the polls. His death is a tragedy, because his last public picture, taken when he was 89, captured him barely able to recognize his own wife...he combated for more than a decade against the inevitable Alzheimers desease, and finally lost and succumbed to death. Although mostly in the world we have so far seen sympathy and respect at Raegan's death, the middle eastern leaders have been accusing Raegan for supporting Israel, and for being antagonistic to them. One Libyan leader even claimed that he should be held responsible for these actions, brought to trial- a man dying from Alzheimer's desease who couldn barely recognize his wife's hand- for having killed about 32 Libyans in retaliation for a terrorist attack commited against him. So soon after his death, leaders are already protesting and lacking respect, if not eulogizing Raegan. Clearly we see the difference between those world leaders and nations that show respect and those who attack raeagan like a snake when he is immobile. We see the difference between those who are luckily world powers with stable governments and content citizens and terrorist, totalitarian countries with leaders who make no effort even to mask their disrespct of a deceased 93 year old man like Raegan. Let's hope that those nations who do show respect to Raegan remain in power...
