Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. I guess they call them overlays. I was looking for stickers. Good price too. $12.95, not bad. I wouldn't bother to get the $50-$60 keyboard, it's probably some generic keyboard. One problem I noticed now is that Unicode Armenian and ArmSCII Armenian has different layouts. I guess the only solution is to have two keyboards, one for Western (Unicode) and one for Eastern (ArmSCII). Thanks again though. This is what I wanted.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase an Armenian keyboard, or even if it exists in the Diaspora? Something like each key has both Latin and Armenian letter. I know of such keyboards for other languages, but I can't find any Armenian. Or, are there keyboard "stickers" that I can paste on each key myself?

I don't know about you, but many in my family were massacred, very few got away. I sure as hell will not set it aside. I am shocked to read your view on the Armenian Genocide. Were your parents foreigners or something? The fact of the matter is we will always need to work on Armenia. What's wrong with working on the Armenian cause, too? Armenians are not lazy people. We are good at multi-tasking.

We are the stronger one. Times have changed. Armenians are accomplishing so many great things at a high rate of speed, including politically, that is sending a red alarm to Turkey. My friend, you need to have greater support for the Armenian cause. We do concentrate on arming, industrializing, and commercializing our little land. But I still stand with my opinion that we should never let Turkey get away with its crimes. In your view, you think we should set aside the crimes, and wait until when... 2064? If people set aside things, people forget. When people forget, you just gave Turks the gift of massacring and deporting millions of people, and stealing their lands. In 2064 when you bring the topic up again, who will remember? Who will care? We need to push for justice from now until we achieve our goal.

Let's forget about it and let Turkey off the hook? It's like saying to the Palestinians to forget about the Jewish invasion and focus on their tiny. unrecognized land. I agree that we should focus on our 1/4th land, but that doesn't mean we should forget the fact that Armenian land has been occupied by Turkey. I'm rational, so I know it is not appropriate to fight for the return of eastern Turkey. But they should return back our Mountain by redrawing their borders. Everyone knows Ararat is the mountain of Armenians. Whoever doesn't know, they should either go research history or open the Bible.

Yes, I am new here. I just posted my opinion. As far as I know the Internet is a free, democratic place. Even though I am new to this forum, it doesn't mean I am a new Armenian. Anyway, about the negativity, I didn't mean about debates. On the contrary, debates are essential. By negativity I meant for Armenians bashing other Armenian, like a few threads below about how Armenians from the Middle East are really Arabs, things like that. We all need to get a long. This is a great forum. I never said it wasn't. Why would I be posting here if it wasn't?

Wow. Why did everyone blow up all of a sudden? This was the same negativity I was talking about originally. You see, it leads us nowhere, We just fight and argue with each other while our enemies laugh at us. I have one comment about... I totally agree that victims (as in us, Armenians) have the right to criticize Turkey because Turkey denies the genocide or any wrongdoing. Jews do not criticize Germany because Germany faced its past. Until Turkey faces its own past, we are going to criticize Turkey. Otherwise, everyone will forget and Turkey will get away with genocide. But I believe Turkey will one day accept the genocide fact, because Armenians will lobby against its admittance to the EU. Turkey also needs to fix its problems with inner human rights violations and the issue with Cyprus.

Yes, Armenians have always been divided. But it's the 21st century now. Maybe this generation can achieve unity. Or maybe I'm just too optimistic. But for the same reason I started this topic, what good will negativity do or what harm will positivity cause? If we do not unite, then we all lose. The way I grew up, I've always said to myself in certain situations... if I do not try to win, my enemy will be happy, and why should I make my enemy happy? The greatest defeat to Turkey and the rest of our enemies is when we are winners. Ridiculous disputes among us is the cause of us being mocked.

anileve, if we stop eating sweets and getting fat, then maybe we can get off our butt and do something? :-) But seriously, I wrote this post with a little humor story with smilies and the point was that we all need to work together. I may be the 1,001st person to say it, but I hope it will take the 1,002nd person to finally achieve it. Don't make me sound like the evil one who is recruiting people to fight Turkey (although I wouldn't be ashamed of that since Turkey is a horrible nation, not just with Armenians, but in general). I said our enemies e.g. Turkey (e.g. meaning example given). Sadly, we have a lot of enemies with hidden agendas. Thanks for the welcome, Vigil :-)

I am new to this forum, and from browsing through past posts, all I can say is that this is a negative place. It's sad how Armenians bash other Armenians, the culture, and etc. We were, and always will be, a proud race. Instead of focusing our attention to any negativity, let's focus on how we can get Turkey to face its past, how we can get Gharapagh internationally recognized or better yet annexed to Armenia, and how we can become a more prosperous people and nation. Hard work is in our blood. I know this might sound cliché, but if we all work together, I know we can achieve our goals. But inner disputes won't get us anywhere. Our enemies, e.g. Turkey, mocks us because of this. So stop eating anousheghen and listening to System of a Down - let's all work hard , because we got a long battle ahead of us. Our enemies know we do not know the meaning of fright. They are scared because we are strong people and will knock them out sooner or later. :box: They also know that we are always prepared... which might lead to their... We can only achieve our goals if we all work together.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I do need help. I'm trying to find an Armenian dictionary. I speak and understand Armenian pretty well, I'd say a little above average. But I am interested in learning advanced vocabularies. The dictionaries I find contain simple words. The dictionary I'm looking for must be Western Armenian, and I would like Armenian script in addition to transliteration since my reading/writing is not very fluent yet. Speaking about dialects, is there a good basic dictionary for Eastern Armenian? Something for a Western Armenian speaker who has very little knowledge about Eastern? Any help/info is appreciated Thanks.
