Well it is rather difficult to keep our lovely Armenian music from sounding "middle Eastern" due to the fact that we are neighbors with many of these Middle Eastern Countries.

Speaking of String Instruments... Can anyone play the Oud? My grandfather can play it pretty good and plays during family gatherings.

Have you listened to much Armenian music from Lebanon? Also Armenian music from Iran sounds more Persian than Armenian.. And Richard Hagopian.. He was born and raised in the USA yet his music is Kurdish or Assyrian sounding.. I like it though. Richard Hagopian

To be honest my father (a white business man who drives a Mercedes) was pulled over by LAPD last year and was harassed to no end.. Some cops are just assholes to everyday citizens in general.. But I understand they must come down harder on Blacks... Some of the cops are on power trips possibly due to being picked on in High school or something. But not all cops are bad and not all cops are light skinned. As for my father being messed with... I dont' know though.. maybe they thought my dad was Tony Soprano or something. lol

bro, me and my Black friends discuss this all the time.. But I must admit that even I myself have been a victim of excessive police force in the past.. Some cops just have a complex and want to flex their muscles.

ok now Armo's feelings on Saddam.. It does not matter how or when Saddam got into power.. What matters is the future and well being of Iraq and the Iraqi people. Think of Saddam as a rotten tooth... It had to be pulled and we all knew it was going to hurt like hell.. Or.. We could have let the tooth stay and rot out the whole mouth. And I know some of you will come at me.. "Oh the USA supported Saddam" Blah Blah Blah... I can name hundreds of friends I had in the past that I can not stand now.. People change as well as government administrations. And what do you do with a 90 pound Rottweiler once it bites you? What happened in the past happened.. Saddam NEEDED to be removed. I don’t care what the flaming liberals say. Then we got the media reporting all the failures in Iraq.. Since when has the media ever reported good news?!?!? Its always the bad things that people see and hear and not the good things.. I have MANY friends from Iraq and listen to their life changing stories since the fall of Saddam.. There is hope for Iraq and the Iraq people are seeing it.. However, the radicals and extremists don’t see hope.. Then everyone expects to see change over night! How can you take an entire country that has spent DECADES being abused by their leader, and expect EVERYONE to change their way of life over night? AS we seen a state of anarchy in the days following the fall of Saddam's statue, one must admit that Anarchy would happen in ANY country given that situation.. Yes even in the USA. ALSO! These Uprisings we see in Iraq have been going on since the beginning of Iraq.. They were going on even when Saddam was in Power.. But how did Saddam end it? He would Gas EVERONE and call it a day..
