  1. Well the days of those Christian Turks seem numbered anyway... Their demise is our bliss.
  2. I don't think I am contradicting myself at all. The Jewish people capitalise on their own tragedy with all means available. Holocaust with a capital H can be found in most dictionaries and that entry is their own exclusive property. That's what I mean with categorising death. Numerically these events may not be "equal" but the singularity of the event namely the killing of a group of people has equal worth. If the Turks had the intention to exterminate all of us but managed to kill only a few hundred people that wouldn't that also classify as a genocide? According to the Genocide convention it would. Please don't tell me that events can be classified as genocide or whatever you want to call it solely on the merit of the number of people killed. The Turks have been playing that number game quite effectively and stirring things up.
  3. Highly unlikely I might assume. I don't think there is an urgency for Turkey to open the border any time soon. Probably those people living at the border regions can be disregarded alltogether by the political establishment. Even though Turks and Armenians will never become best of friends and develop feelings of mutual love, commercial activities will be beneficial for both countries especially for Armenia. Armenia will gain cheaper access to world markets and I can assume that the Turkish infrastructure, transportation facilities and legal guarantees are much more superior than Armenia's current trading partners.
  4. You know what (and I am addressing you all) numbers aren't important at all. It's the intention of killing someone that is at the core of things. Even one loss of human life is one too many. Categorising the deaths of people is very sickening in my opinion. I wish we could have had one word to describe all massacres and not argue about semantics.
