  1. Sad to see scamming and back-door dealing exists in Armenia, why don't people care about how they treat their fellow Armenians? Perhaps the nasty side of American commerce has found its way to Armenia.
  2. As I understand citizenship generally, it should be allowed to people who reside within a nation for a set number of years and have filled out the right information to the government, in some nations there additional requirements like good health or possible benefits to the country. If you are born in a nation to a citizen of that nation then you should be entitled to citizenship. In Armenia's particular case it could afford to be lenient on Genocide survivors and their immediate families, but distant relatives could be dividing line I think. As for Dual citizenship or citizenship in multiple nations, it shouldn't be any of the governments business unless someone holds citizenship in Azerbaijan or one of Armenia's enemies/hostile neighbors. My mother once held Saudi citizenship, later acquiring US citizenship, technically I could be a citizen of three nations if she reinstated her citizenship. It's not necessarily hard at all to be a citizen in one or more nations, also just because you are part of another nation doesn't mean you love/like one less. I love New Zealand and the United States, and I don't consider myself any less patriotic by being part of another nation, I doubt Armenians are any less patriotic if they have citizenship in Iran for example.
  3. http://megapchardware.com/zencart/images/Microsoft%20Age%20Of%20Empires%20Collectors%20edition.jpg Perhaps Aliyev should stick to playing war games on the computer, and learn from the Georgian defense ministers delusion?
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if many members of the Turkish military were encouraged on by Erdoğan, probably Erdoğan signed off the papers like Comrade Stalin.
  5. Actually Mohammad's conquests and the Koran are probably their inspiration, the Genocides and massacres were however a purely Turkish invention (if you exclude the Belgians in the Congo), as for the genocide denial campaign, that was certainly a product of the German government at the time, that several times encouraged them on to Genocide the Armenians and dispose of the 'inferior people's'. In modern times I think Margaret Thatcher is probably the most vocal supporter of Genocide denial, she is probably their greatest inspiration, before George W. Bush himself.
  6. He probably recognizes the genocide happened, but I doubt the President cares about Armenians, he just used the issue to get elected just like George W. Bush. Sadly this protest will likely go unheeded by the White House, morality or ethics clearly isn't part of his administration.
  7. Over my net cap...so barely saw a thing in the video.
  8. It's a shame that it is 'ruined' in the first place, but hopefully one day more religious tolerance comes to Turkey. It's such a shame that Christians as well as minority Muslims are ill treated by the state as well as by extreme nationalists.
