  1. This may sound pointless...But this morning some lady pulled the string on my nerves by simply chewing her gum...She was sitting next to me and chewing that bubble gum, like it was her day job...Making weird dishwasher-like sounds...and she was perfectly comfortable with others staring at her, showing that it was disgusting and annoying... I mean... Are they doing it on purpose? Is it fun to play on the nerves of others??? I am upset at myself that i did not chsnge my seat or said something... it got to me so much, i caught myself stretching my chin...

  3. Vavul have you ever sat next to a vitnamise and had oriental food? I wishes I was sitting next to a smoker at that time, and this is every day when i used to work in a company you could hear every jucy sound his mouth made wile eating with his chapstick then again after couple of weeks i refused to go to lunch now thats annoying to me when i was 5 or 6 my mother used to slap on my mouth to keep it closed, this is basic manners talk about devoted eating of chap sue

  4. I agree with Ani about the gum chewing. There's a nurse I work with who is constantly chewing her gum loudly and makes that stupid sound with it. One day I'm going to snap and throw something at her.

  5. There are a lot of things that can annoy me. Some are caused by people and some are not. Like: - Ticking clocks (too rhythmic and metronomical) - People using toothpicks in public (especially on the tables, eww!) - People who constantly sniffle loudly. Children do this a lot (the well-behaved won't) and I don't allow my students to sniffle in my presence. Vava, I consider myself to be pretty tolerant, but some things are just too much for me to tolerate. Why should I?

  7. I agree with what you said about tolerance level and being short tempered...I sometimes concentrate on little things which is pointless and can be ignored as well... But she was tooooo much...And it got to everyone around... http://www.stainexpert.co.uk/images/1762.jpg

  9. Perhaps something else was also bothering you? I find when little things get on your nerves, it usually indicates that your tolerance level has been considerably shortened by other influences, and not always consciously. When someone is short-tempered with you without reason, it has significant impact upon your morale and whether you like it or not, there's a good chance you'll be unreasonable with someone else - the "bad vibes" being passed from one person to the next. The good news is the opposite can also be true... So to get back to the subject - there's not a lot that annoys me typically. When the TV's too loud with bad reality shows perhaps...
