Guest
Sounds like they're trying to start a "secret" powerful organization, just like the Masons they mention (also know as "The Illuminati"). Supposedly, Jesus fathered children and the Masons were organized to keep the childrens' identities secret. In addition, they were to keep the descedants of Jesus in positions of power throughout the world. Supposedly, this continues to this day. I read somewhere that every US President was/is a Mason. I can't believe that's true. All this Free Mason Global Network secret society stuff is most likely a bunch of nonsense.
Guest
I don't think Clinton is Mason. But the Bushes (Senior and Junior) definitely are, and they are not making any secrets of it. The US was founded by Masons headed by G. Washington. I don't think that the Secret Society is nonsense. In fact they are very dominant in Insurance industry, though not much in Wall Street any more. It is believed that it is a declining organization, however and has lost its might it has enjoyed once. As to the Armenian "manifesto," they come across to me as a group of at most 5-10 youngsters, with a mission to save Armenia from the International Conspiracy. Guest
MJ, I think Masons still have a lot of control in Wall Street. All big shots in big investment banks are masons (Goldman Sacks (Abby Cohen is a Mason), Morgan Stanley (it has many Masons, but is mostly under Jewish influence), Bear Stearns (club of WASPy Masons). I deal with these companies on daily basis and the topic of Masons comes up in dinners once in awhile.

Guest
And the masons were responsible for the Armenian genocide (at least according to one otherwise very intelligent Armenian I know). There may be some basis to his belief as most of the Young Turk leadership were masons (and Jews), but just because some dogs bite you is not a reason for thinking that they are biting you because of a masterplan between all dogs. Guest
Alpha, My impression is that the sales force in Wall Street probably consists of Masons, but the trading, risk management and product structuring arms of it are rather far away from such affiliation. But, on the other hand, how would I know...?

I had not heard this before and am very curious. I'm going to start taking note of who is and isn't in my business dealings. BTW, actuaries run the insurance industry . Well...we do have to sign off on pricing decisions and a major portion of the liability half of the balance sheet. We're often in key positions in insurance companies because we are the only ones who know about every function within the organization. One of father-in-law's best friends is a n-th degree Mason (where n is some high number). Maybe I can slip him some sodium pentathol and get some info. With respect to the power of the Masons in general, I wonder if the same can be said for all the other fraternal orders in the US (Shriners, Moose, Elks). It may be nothing more than well-developed "good ol' boys" business networking. Are the Bushs' "secret" memberships The Skulls or something like that?? I think it's a college-based fraternity.[This message has been edited by Pilafhead (edited January 05, 2001).]

I base my statement on what I have heard from a friend of mine, whose both grandparents have been Grandmasters (not chess). From what I understand the sales force and the executive levels of insurance industry are the ones where still there are significant numbers of Masons. As to the actuaries running the Insurance industry, sorry, but I am a bit skeptical about that overstatement. Perhaps they are the ones who know the most, and do the "dirty" work, but it's hard for me to take your statement for its face value. Usually the Masons don't give information about their organization and the philosophy. I have tried it many times. It is against their code. So, I doubt that sodium pentathol will help. Bushes are Masons. I have forgotten the name of the branch. Many years ago, an Armenian acquaintance of mine from Glendale told me that he belongs to the same lodge as Bush (senior) and Saddam Hussein do. It was right after the Golf war. From my personal experience I know that very significant numbers of prominent Armenians in Southern California, including prominent dentists, architects, constructors, doctors, etc, are Masons. All three traditional Armenian political parties (of Diaspora) have been established on the basis of the affiliation of their leaders to the Masonic Organization. The organizational structure of ARF even copies the structure of a Masonic organization. But I tend to agree that, as it stands today, this organization is one of the many "good old' boys" structures, and doesn't have anywhere close to an absolute control over the political elite, or the job market. The guy from Glendale I mentioned above was in the process of bankruptcy, btw.

We exist because state governments hope we help keep the industry "in check".BTW, my great-grandfather was a very successful Met Life salesman in NY. I'll ask my grandma if he was a Mason. quote:Originally posted by MJ: From my personal experience I know that very significant numbers of prominent Armenians in Southern California, including prominent dentists, architects, constructors, doctors, etc, are Masons. My uncle is one of those prominent dentists here. I'm going to find out tomorrow if he is a Mason. Wouldn't that be something??The whole thing facinates me. A friend of mine was in DeMolay which is the boy scout branch (for lack of a better term). My knowledge of the Masonic history comes solely from him. I know there are books out by quasi-conspiracy theorists on the subject--I may pick one up and try and separate fact from science fiction. I have come across this info a few times in college. The Masonic society is very alive and thriving as far as I know and like a few people mentioned, there are Armenian members also (I at least know one person, a young gentleman I may add).I just don't know if "The Skulls" is a subsidiary of the Masonic Society. Does anyone know? Oh, did you guys see the movie? A
Guest
Kennedy was surely not a Mason. Or maybe they fired him. No, that's exactly what they did. If Bush is not a member, he's in big trouble.
Guest
Wooohhooooa! i think that looks like very dodgy, spam mail, which is harmless as far as emails go. But loooks like a dodgy organisation playing on the getting armenians united thing. Pretty much like the teqniques that cults use, ( I can see seventeen year old young kids getting fooled by that nonsense) think of the moonies in the seventies knocking ppl's doors. Careful! Oh the masons thing. They only let super-rich proffessionals join dont they. And that does include quite a few armenians!
