Lana
Hi, I'm new here, you can welcome me I have a question to those who is closed to high education in USA, namely CSUN. I'm going to study there and I'd like to know what's the best way to pay for education, is it going to be hard studying there, should I be a full-time student or part-time? Any information will be useful. Thank you.
Accelerated
You should move to Australia, its a lot cheaper here and our education facilities are just as good AND you wont run the risk of being murdered if you borrow someones XBOX
shiner
CSUN is good because it's public. It's not worth to pay a lot of money for undergraduate by going private. It's obviously better not to get in debt and with CSUN you probably don't have to cause it's pretty cheap. If you have to borrow money though don't hesitate. However try to get federal loans first by completing FAFSA. If FAFSA does not give you enough, I would consider working while going to school, and as a last resort private loans. Private loans are messed up because interest is higher, and I'm not a big fan of getting into debt for undergrad. The only way getting into debt for undergrad might be worth it is if you go out of state and live away from your family for a while. This might help you integrate into American society more and give you some more unique experiences. It's not going to be hard studying here. But unless you are in a hurry, you might want to be part time at first so you can see for yourself exactly how everything is structured as opposed to relying on others opinions. In regards to your question about Armenians at CSUN. Well, the proper question would be "Are there any other nationalities at CSUN besides Armenians?". heheheh There are MANY. I would guess about 30 to 40% but I could be wrong. I am sure it is somewhere on their site. Don’t worry about your English skills. If you speak 1/4 as well as you write I am sure you will be fine. Linguistics - I wish I knew more but I don't. Send and email to Norm Chompsy or someone like that. Who knows they may answer it.
Lana
[You should move to Australia] Meet me in a couple of weeks. [Lana, first welcome to HyeForum. Enjoy your stay.] Thanks [Don’t worry about your English skills.] Thank you but I'm really taught to write and read in English well almost perfectly without being taught to understand English. When I came here with my British English I was wondering if the language people speak here is really English? [send and email to Norm Chompsy or someone like that] maybe you'll tell me who's that?
