I will be having 3 HD in my computer, I was thinking about if there was a way to have a folder where important files are kept, and that everytime I save something in this folder it is saved at the same time in the 3 different HD. It is not RAID that I want, I just want a folder in which I could save important files that will be saved in the 3 HD... Is there a software to do that? Thanks. I finally changed my mind... I have found from the disk managers a way to have a software raid... I will be partitioning a 20 Gb in 2 HD that will be for my important files and stuff and will make the second a mirror of the first one. Sip Posted September 3, 2004 Report Share Posted September 3, 2004 He is making a 20Gig partition on 2 different drives with one being a mirror of the other (RAID 1). You can do this with your most critical data. Dual layer DVD have large capacity just pick a good backup software Dantz Retrospect is good and easy to use software. This might be alternative that could possibly work for you. If online doesn’t work any Backup soft even Microsoft backup can be scheduled to perform backups.
