NATO moves South/East.

Remember when NATO Sunmnits would be held in Brussels or Paris?

 

Some time ago I prophesied that the "curtian" would move east and south, and I labeled it as the "rattan curtain" as opposed to the "iron curtain". I should write a new "book of prophesies".

Why don't I?

Why add to the garbage that already is?

Has anyone seen the repetition in Pres. Bush's exhortations at the NATO conference in Istanbul?

Has anyone seen the similarity of it to exhortations of JFK at the Brandenburg Gate when he announced; "Ich bin eine Berliner", or Pres. Reagan's call; "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall"?

Yes! JFK became a citizen of Berlin. Mr. Gorbachev, or in spite of him that wall was torn down. Not really. The "wall" moved eastward and southward.

There was a time when Berlin was the line, the wall poised to stem the "red tide", to crush the "evil empire". Now that that "evil empire" has been crushed, it is only natural that the "wall" be moved further east and south to stem the tide of new evil empires.

Did anyone sense in Mr. Bush's closing speech that Istanbul is the new Berlin, the new "Brandenburg Gate". That the front has now moved not close to Moscow anymore but close to Damascus, Tehran and Baghdad?

Moscow may not be the target of NATO anymore, the target has moved further south and further east. Now that Baghdad has fallen in line are Yerevan, Damascus and Tehran the next targets?

Oddly enough one never hears about the connection of NATO and TelAviv. Is it because Istanbul, a suburb of TelAviv is close enough? If only Istanbul and Ankara would realise that they are not Berlins, that once Damascus, Tehran et al have fallen the "wall" will once a gain turn northward and westward to remove all obstacles to free access to all those newly opened frontiers without having to pay billions in transit fees.
