DominO123
http://www,genocide-armenien.com http://www,genocides.org http://www,genocidearmenien.org Is there no Armenian lawyer that will do anything about this? No contacting the WIPO or something? They have NO RIGHT to register such addresses, it's misrepresentation.
sev-mard
Yeah this stuff is bad, remember our talk yesterday though. There is always going to be one side trying to defame another. Truth will previal and proper dissemination of right knowledge can overcome petty attempts at dis-information such as these. Also, anyone who would take these sites as true, isn't one you would want on your side regardless.
DominO123
This isn't the problem, they can build all the sites they want, for all I care. The problem here is their uses of those words for web-sites, the term Armenian being present in any languages in those address, like the term genocide. This is a cowardly act, they can't confront people with facts so they must rely on cheap tricks wishing that it will fool people when searching in search engines. And more, this is not understandble at all, when it will take just one law suit to correct the problem, because there are jurisprudences regarding internet addresses, where people uses terms to misuse them. sev-mard
In that respect you are right. The doman naming is an obvious ploy, similar to the well known scam of web page writers luring you to porn sites via misspellings. It's not right, I don't know how you'd go about policing such tactic unfortunately.

DominO123
This is not about an ideal world or not, but only the fact that you have sleeping Armenian organizations that can do something and do nothing about it. Those address are obvious misrepresentations and one lawsuit could be all it takes to correct the situation.
