Azeri foreign minister Elmar Mamedyarov told Franspress that various ideas are discussed within Artsax regulation negotiations (on the level of Azeri and Armenian presidents and foreign ministers), including an option of lifting blockade on the railroad passing through Azerbaijan to Armenia instead of receiving back the territories under the control of Artsaxi armed forces. "One of the discussed ideas is the proposal to open the transport corridors with Armenia against liberating 7 occupied regions apart from Artsax",- said Mamedyarov, adding that "at this moment we consider to what extent the parties are ready to go to mutual concessions." Vigil Posted May 5, 2004 Report Share Posted May 5, 2004 (edited) The better question is what nation Turkey has not betrayed? Virtually all its neighbors have encountered the dreaded "Turkish hospitality" at one point or another, so, this is no suprise to me. In fact it was bound to happen and like the old saying goes "you keep your friends close, but your enemies closer". Yes, it is finally looking good for Armenia, now, lets just hope the "think tanks" know how to use these political changes for our favor.
