russian skinheads

Skeanheads in Russia (Krasnodarski kray and Moscow) made some pogroms this year celebrating the date of birth of Hitler. Actually, people in Moscow say that more than 10 people were killed in Moscow those days and among them armenians and azeris. There was also a destruction of an armenian cemetary in Krasnodar. Unfortunately, massmedia did not report everything about that...

Yeah...the situation is pretty rough in Moscow.

Those kids are mostly from poor towns around Moscow or they come out of low class families.

The worst thing is that the police would rather pay attention to the Armenians than the skinheads.

THEY CELEBRATED HITLERS BIRTHDAY! Very funny....considering what Hitler thought of Russians

BTW, during the last pogrom in Moscow only 2 people died:An Azeri and an Armenian. All other (including Georgians, Afganis, etc.)were just wounded.

Will we ever learn?

When?

When the words Armenia and Armenian are a mere historical curiosity?

Why does it take pgroms, massacres, persecutions and Genocides for us to realize that Moscow, Krasnodar, Istanbul, Izmir, Tbilisi, Paris, Beirut, LA and NY are not Armenian cities, they never were, will never be, no one promised them to us, no one will.

That Russian prophesy of "Armenia without Armenians" is fast becoming a reality.

If we were on OUR ancestral lands in 1915 no force could have defeated us, not the Ottoman, not the Russian, not even any heavenly or hellish force.

Arpa jan,

100 % agree with you. But anyway me and you and millions of others work, study or live outside Armenia today.. how one can solve this problem?.. What do we need to learn and do? In my opinion, one cannot be happy if not in his/her country. How can we become happy?..

Will we ever learn ? I don’t know - but I know that we have not learned so far.

in 1918 over 200.000 Armenians war massacres in Baku - yet after 5-7 years Armenians war back in Baku rebuilding it - 1988 in same Baku Armenians war forced to leave, city that thay have build.

this is only one of the dark pages in our history.

yet today Armenians are buying lend in turky, you know what will hapen soon?

Will we ever learn ? I don’t know

MosJan, I think Armenians have learned enough. We not only learned to abandon dominance, we also learned to share "our" territory without fearing assimilation. It's those who dominate us that haven't learned yet. Since neither they can exterminate us nor can we force them to leave our territory (including Baku; I believe Armenians settled there two millennia before Azeris), we will have to continue pleading for everyone's right to live in a free world. How? Good point. Maybe we could brainstorm. But escaping reality or mimicking our enemies won't help.

Jesus Christ you guys, COME ON! I thought we were meant to be building a world without borders. You can't stop the natural human urge to move and migrate. Like it or not, Armenia will NEVER be 100% homogenous. Neither will bigger countries like Russia, Turkey or America. Think of it: if Armenians should "go back to where they belong", then so should 65 million Turks, 50 million Hispanics, 70 million Chinese, 150 million whites, 200 million WhoCares etc. etc. See how ridiculous that sounds? Besides what difference should it make where you live? In a free world, you should have the right to practice your culture, religion etc. without oppression or fear from anyone, anywhere in the world.

To paraphrase from the French film "La Haine":

Le monde n'est pas à VOUS. Le monde est à NOUS.

Meaning (in this context):

The world is neither YOURS, nor MINE. The world is OURS.
