Guest
I am looking for some help in finding my children's relatives. I was married a man who was part Armenian and part Irish, originally from New York area. We had three children. WE divorced, but now my children are interested in finding their Armenian relatives. Their grandfather's name was Edward Levon. Levon was changed from the original name for business purposes. I am told that relatives are named Kakian and Tooposian. My children's father is Gary Levon. His grandmother,I believe, was named Irene or Ilene Tooposian. I remember that she died while I was still married to Gary Levon, but I have never met her. This is especially important to my eldest daughter who resembles her paternal grandfather.Apparently, my children's grandmother had no interest in keeping in touch with her husband's family, and so contact between that side of the family is no longer available. I would like for my children to better understand their heritage and perhaps have contact with any relatives who may still be alive. My former (now late) father-in-law Edward Levon owned a photo-engraving plant in New York City.Anyone with any information about how to contact that side of the family--please feel free to contact me at the following e-mail:rscalia@oeamail.umaryland.eduthank you!
